Her TTK for dry beaming went down by half a second and she survives some breakpoints. Honestly a good start. Next we can make her orbs smaller, but charge faster and remove the shield vamp passive (net neutral change in my opinion that will make her healthier)

Unfortunately, Symmetra actually being a capable DPS actually able to -potentially- hold her own in engagements and 1v1s means that streamers are gonna start whining about her like always until she’s reverted to Bottom 3 DPS again.
Heaven forbid the projectile dps aren’t just jokes for the hitscans to get easy kills on.
Also no; Symmetra is not low/no skill and hasn’t been for 6 years. Playing her has taken significantly more effort than other ‘balanced’ dps, for far worse results.

Yes, she is way better now, but still feels like should be buffed more.
I mean if other heroes can kill quickly within 12m then she should be able to as well.
This charge increase feels way better than the previous damage buff to 195
Too late they’ve already added the Sym nerfs into the next patchnotes.

You used the word “good” and that’s… well, that’s good enough. Time to take off 50 HP, have her beam level down into brand new negative levels, but add an amazing compensation buff where on cold maps her teleporter cooldown is reduced by one second. On Fridays.

Yep. Symmetra finally feels kinda OK.
It’s like she finally got Amazon Prime - instead of taking 3 business days to do damage, she’s got that same-day delivery now.

I can tell you that when she’s being paid attention to by the supports, she can really contribute now.
She has the same issues she had before though, even with an additional 50 shield, she mostly ignored by supports because they’re so busy doing DPS or healing the tank.
Supports not healing Symmetra.
