I think that the mythic skin would be much better on symmetra.
Symettra already is sorta “magic” with her abilities.
She teleports people around, throws balls of energy, summons turrets, conjurers massive shields.
Like a witch mythic fits symettra way more then widow.

I’d like it if they went a technomancer route. Something related to creationist Myths would also be cool.
That would be one way to take it, but I think sym could pull off alot of different themes.
Like if you look at her current skins she covers alot of different areas. The only way I can think a sym mythic would fail is if its bland/simple.
As long at its not simple and has some spice It should work.
Let be honest and with their history of handing out sym skins for free, ain’t no body going crazy for a sym mythic. I fear she’s probably going to hers dead last. If at all.
Symm or Mei fit the magic aesthetic better, both also have way better opportunity for cool magical effects either would’ve been a more solid base to work with than Widow.
They could’ve made Sym’s orbs into fireballs; fully charged orbs have an effect where they explode on impact.

Sym, LW, Mei, even Junkrat would have been better for a magic related mythic skin lmao

Sym isn’t as popular anymore for them to put in that effort to make money off of she’s very good in certain comps but her popularity has diminished a bit and that’s probably why. They want to make money so the chars that they see being played the most tend to get the Mythics
that would have included efforts to program Symm’s turret and teleporter and her entire ult shield… Devs just want easy money… so… Widowmaker…

I was half expecting at least a legendary Symm witch skin because it fits so well as OP stated.
Symm has Magician and Conjurer skins that match her skills.
We still have hope in the 2 shop skins that are linked to ultimate battle pass.

Your absolutely right I just think that blizz is trying to easily capitalize first make some money and move onto others but they know full well widow tends to sell skins easily where as sym doesnt she was op during double shield comps and if that ever returns with 6v6 sym will be back on top
Kiriko will have 20 mythic skins before Sym even gets 1
