Yeah they seem to love throwing in undocumented changes quite a bit. Itā€™s enough that they often mess up patch notes but leaving stuff out is just dumb.

Same. Even the same SR gain. Her gun feelsā€¦ better somehow, I think it is the tickrate, but the hitbox is definitely the same.

i didnā€™t think the tickrate was the problem, since she has the same exact tickrate as zarya as-is.
I thought the problem was the small hitbox or something else

Now I see that Sym has dagger instead of nothing gonna be picking her back up.

Still a short sword (dagger) needs a Shieldā€¦ I guess I will see what I can do with the Teleporterā€¦ (been thinking of things we have been focusing on with it, like avoiding D. Va Ult like Sombra does, (the other Dps I will be playing.)

A faster deploy time might be more valuable than a shield.

I think we should stop going back to Support stuff. Stepped towards DPS stuff. (And proton Barrier maybe)

I mean to be a relevant pick she still needs a ton of buffs

Technically already has, she just needs to replace what she lost.

I have 45+ across all my accounts so I wouldnā€™t say Iā€™m ill informed either. Even so it was from a thread I saw and havenā€™t tested myself.

Contenders is playing on patch 1.29

Whoever writes these patch notes should be fired. Half the stuff thy do never gets mentioned in them.

I feel like this is how Sym 3.0 was always meant to be. Her beam feels powerful now. Itā€™s much easier to take out highly mobile characters because of the bigger chunks of damage.

Sheā€™s become truly viable and I think weā€™ll see a lot more Sym players. Especially as armour no longer stops her in her tracks.

Sym mains new something was up but naysayers will always be naysayers.

was the tick rate really fixed? Did anyone test to see how long it took to de-mech a Dv.a before and after the patch?
