Sym mains need to calm down alittle bit. Please stop acting like Symmetra is unplayable, because guess what, SHE ISNT. I am a sym player in 4.1k sr and I am able to hold my own and fight very well. Yes it was very weird going from 2.0s slow play style to 3.0s fast playstyle but it is actually more fun to play and I climbed way more than I did with 2.0 because she is now USEFUL. Sym spends more time in team fights and not running around setting up sgs and tps. I feel like most sym mains are complaining because they can not get use to her new skill set and want the easy way out with lock on, as great as lock on was her new beam is way better and more controllable. After her charge buff she will be even better at dmg dealing and hopefully we will get more sym buffs in the future but for now please calm down because shes not as bad as she seems. All you have to do is…how do the dps mains put it? Oh yea! GET GOOD!

Never seen another Sym main call 3.0 unplayable just that they hate playing her because she is no longer the same hero in many ways. I have no issue getting kills doing damage and doing well, but i hate the way she feels shes no longer the hero i fell in love with.

Might want to rephrase that. The way it is written it sounds like a rhetorical statement agreeing that she is bad. A better way to write it would be:
“Please stop acting like Symmetra is unplayable, because she ISN’T.”
But as for what you said, I completely agree. Symm is currently one of my go-to heroes currently. My top 3 for this season are Torb, Symm, and Soldier. Fun and effective. So I can’t lose!

I think a lot of people would agree that if you fall in love with a hero that eternally soft-threw, breaking your heart was a necessary evil. I’m sorry for your loss, but she’s in a better place now.

It’s true though, I had a top 500 sym one trick on the enemy team once and they just played into their counter like walking into a brick wall over and over
They went from 1.0 to 2.0 with various buffs and nerfs in between. Blizzard tried pretty hard with Symm, but her play-style just wouldn’t conform to the fast paced nature of the game. A final, complete reworking was their last stand. If they couldn’t make it work, what makes you think you could have?

… mmk read this tell me what you think. Primary fire damage changed to 60-90-120 takes 1.5sec to ramp, turrets 6 25 damage 25hp throwable, E barrier spawns stationary upon pressing E again it will begin moving forward, Alt fire reverted entirely but when the orb passes through her own barrier it will super charge it and cause it to speed up to its current form.
passive effect gives her a lucio esc aura that gives allies within it a 25hp barrier, tp ult removed, shield gen ult now gives 50shield hp instead of 75 and its range is slightly buffed. boom done area control and denial support that can fill the role of a Rein or Orisa by shielding her team and making it dificult for diving enemies to flank creating a bunker turning her into a canon of hard light with her barrier and alt fire.

I really like those ideas, I was reading a post where they suggested sym gain shields while using her primary fire, like doomfist does when using his skills. That suggestion has stuck with me ever since.
