I was watching Gamescom and they announced Widowmaker is getting a Sylvanas skin. This is really cool, but I feel like a character like Sylvanas would’ve done better as a playable character rather than a skin for 1 specific character. Widowmaker is a character I play maybe a couple times a month, and people that don’t play sniper characters won’t really play her. Besides that, Sylvanas using a sniper rifle seems weird, but apart from gender swapping Hanzo I guess she’s the next best choice. Even still, it would’ve been cool to have Sylvanas as a unique playable character. OW should really embrace guest collab characters.
Hopefully this mean we’ll eventually get more WoW characters in OW.

I saw it while watching the Gamescom stream a few minutes ago. You can go watch a vod and see the announcement there. It was towards the end of it.

Its not that one. Its basically her look from WOTLK. I think that look for her in the video you posted was fanart and not an official design.

And never read one thing in that game, lol.
Sylvanas was a Horde leader in WoW since Vanilla WoW in 2004! WoW is Warcraft turned into an MMO.

Sylvanas is, in fact, a WoW character. She’s been in the WoW MMO for 20 years now.
The only video game writing i would ever read is final fantasy. But, that’s just me.

I have NO IDEA AT ALL about the lore though.
I’m not a huge fan of failed writers that have to write for video games because they can’t make movies or tv shows.
