lol a non lucioball sydney map and thank you jelly

But I NEED A LUCIOBALL SYDNEY MAP

I would actually love if we get some none futuristic city this time, like a jungle
Map were there are huge trees and tree terraces etc.

How about Ayutthaya? Oh wait that’s only half old. Seriously though there are a few like Hanamura and Eichenwalde, but it would be nice if there was a map which was completely just nature.

Yes thats what im wishing a map with trees in between where players can hide, climb on to etc.
Like pure natury goodness!
In bastions short weve seen a nature at its full glory so the overwatch world is not lacking of it.

All i want is a swedish map!

I’ve wanted a map in Sydney for so long, especially after seeing it in the Junker’s comic and as a Lucioball map. Imagine if there was a section of it in Luna Park

From what i see is they would either add

Sydney- futuristic city
Utopea- super futuristic city
Another city with tech and stuff

If they go with this route it would look uninspired and redundant tbh

We need a map that isnt a city for a change!

How about
Brazil beach area
Bastion’s forest
Jungle amazon
Canadian rockies

Anything different.

Well, not really. Overwatch is a truly imaginative universe and a lot of Blizzard’s creativity is expressed in the maps. Because it’s set in the future, they can basically do anything they want to different places in the world without many consequences.

Compare Oasis, Hollywood, Numbani and King’s Row and tell me ā€œThey’re all the same boring city mapā€

Yes the maps you listed is not so boring because its not many and they were the first but too much of same thing is not healthy and will become boring eventually.

Say they add 10 more futuristic city that looks similar to each other just different in layout, is that still cool?

Lastly i never said the word ā€œboringā€ just uninspired and redundant! all im saying is more diverse maps is good. Not city after city.

What I’m saying is that despite those four maps being futuristic city maps, they each are very different from each other in style and atmosphere.

Oasis: Futuristic tech, symmetry, elitist etc.
Hollywood: Bright, fun, rich, movie sets etc.
King’s Row: Dark, dystopian, moody etc.
Numbani: Fulfilled, fun, ā€œomnics and humans togetherā€ etc.
(You could even add Dorado, Hanamura, Volskaya Industries, Ilios…)

My point is that despite them all being cities set in the future, they are all vastly different in style and I personally would love to see how Blizzard explores different cities (Or places in general; I’m not against your ideas either) in the Overwatch format.

Martin place and the Rocks would be a great area to base a map around the modern combined with the first days of Australia.

for me sydney map then jungle map would be good

This is the one I want to see the most. What does a city constructed out of hard light even look like? I’d like to think the map would have parts that could be turned off/on to shut down or add extra routes, but I’m not sure how that’d be controlled or if both teams would have access to toggle it.

I’d love something more outdoorsy too.

maybe it can have indoors and outdoors area’s sydney is pretty varied

Yassssssss!!!
