So when it comes to having a competitive match and it’s a tie. How does the switching sides works? Because sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn’t. Is it just random or is there a certain thing a team needs for it to switch to them.
I know it may be such a confusing question to process
It’s a little different for each gamemode.
For Assault and Hybrid, completing the map with time remaining guarantees an additional attack. If one team completes the map with over a minute and the other team completes it in overtime, the latter will not get the chance to attack again. Only the team who had over 1 minute will be able to, and they only need to get 33%.
For Escort, if both teams complete the map, an additional round is played. Completing over 1 minute against a team who completes in overtime does not deny them another attack.
The team with the lower time bank will have their time increased to 1 minute, and the amount that it took to get there is added to the team with the larger time bank.
The team with the lower time will always attack first in subsequent rounds. If both teams have identical time banks, it’s random.

I know how all that works What I’m asking is the “Switching sides” section randomly generated
So let’s say both teams got 3 points each it would go to the scoring screen at this point in asking is switching sides completely random because sometimes it doesn’t switch the sides
I answered that. The team who has the lowest time attacks first. If they had just attacked, the sides won’t switch. If not, they will switch.
