"switch off junkerqueen" "no" "enjoy losing" (3stack leaves)

so much fun, really enjoying competitive overwatch 2.

Why are you playing a throwpick in comp.

I feel like more people are encouraged to leave comp now that they can’t see their SR immediately go down…

Great comp system btw

thats so weird lol, dont they get a double loss now? I don’t see why people throw like that. So many times I’ve been on a team with a sym one trick that was actually really good, but the team refused to play with her so we lost. If they wont swap then work with them and try to make it work.

Literally and explicitly throwing and then being like “so and so is throwing they wont swap” when so and so is actually trying, even if their hero pick isn’t the greatest/ meta is so so dumb

ive actually got a pretty good win rate with her (about 60% i think) and managed to climb from low gold to plat by playing mostly her. If you know how to play her and are getting a lot of attention from your supports shes not too bad (def needs buffs tho)

If you play a throwpick you just have to accept some people have the patience to carry you, others do not. The stack that left OPs game did not and I don’t fault them.

That’s an interesting assumption that it’s always a carry lol. Do you have proof I was carried? When people complain about losing a lot everyone always says “you’re the common denominator” why doesn’t that apply here?

And why should we have to bend to the whims of some random 3 stack? Many times I’ve seen people on the enemy blame the player that actually was carrying them just bc that character wasn’t meta.

So many people see a hero like sym or JQ and their little monkey brains shriek and screech “throw pick! must throw to prove a point!” and it’s so embarrassing for them.

Ah yes. Blame the victim and defend the control freaks leaving comp games. That’ll definitely do something other than make everyone roll their eyes at you.

Playing off meta throwpicks in the competitive mode while you could queue quick or arcade is selfish.

*irrelevant to almost the entire playerbase. Hero choice isnt why most matches are lost.

Sighed, the person defending players who leave comp games because strangers didnt obey them. Impossible to take seriously.

Part of the skillset is counterpicking. If you don’t know your counterpicks yet and are one of those people who counter themselves. Simply stay out of the competitive mode or find 4 people who dont mind you putting the team at a disadvantage until you learned the basics.

What I don’t think people like them realize is that leaving counts as losing, and in this case, is sabotaging the team, which is a bannable offense. Would be nice if Blizzard cracked down on them.

Oh I’m pretty sure that I do.

It’s not the main reason most players lose. Poor play is.

Yet you’re okay with players deliberately forcing their team to lose by leaving. As I said, this is impossible to take seriously.

People that end the game before it starts because of a character someone picked shouldn’t play team games, just play a 1v1 game if you want everything to be decided by you.

Why do you even WANT a team if there’s a chance they’ll pick your unapproved character?

No, the main reason is matchmaking. Which puts people like you who hardcounter themselves with competent players who learned the game, to carry you.

Just as I thought. If it’s not your teams fault it’s the system. Any excuse to not blame yourself.

My brother in christ. How bad are you to not notice the main gamemode is broken due to mm. Theres literally new player in diamond ranks running solo into enemy teams, not knowing why they are losing.

You just exposed yourself.

heres the thing.

that 3 stack already got punished. but you not swapping could potentially cost them the win either way and some people would rather take the L upfront then spend 20 minutes getting it slow.

ive told people this many times, if you dont want people to lash out about your pick then dont pick it.

otherwise you cant really do much, if ppl throw you can report em but if they outright leave the game…i guess you could report em but its unlikely anything would ever happen lol

one tricking bad heroes ruins everyones day, particularly if you are the tank. so i cant exactly blame them for wanting to get it over with lol

Wouldn’t mind getting changing comp bans into actual bans or increasing the penalty

based on how this story is written my assumption is that it wasnt at the start, it was during the match. because if it was at the start, the OP wouldnt of lost anything.

so what likely happened was the OP rolled out on JQ and were getting blasted the entire time, so the 3 stack asked “hey can you swap to a better tank, we cant really do anything”.

but then the OP probably said “no my stats are better then you, play better”

so they said GG and left.
