i linked my battlenet account before the crossplay beta came out. after the crossplay patch i updated it and it shows crossplay enabled.
but every match of competetive is with switch players no one else.
is the crossplay only for quickplay? i havnt tried quickplay.
should i reinstall my game?
edit: i just played quickplay and crossplay works there. why not competetive?
Competitive is suppose to allow crossplay across console platforms only, but you will most likely only see other switch players unless you directly group up with a friend from a different console platform. It is probably a good thing to only face against Switch players in most patches considering the Switch platform has a lower system performance (30 FPS) versus other console platforms (which go as high as 120 FPS).
Update, I learned that until season 29 begins, Competitive is restricted to each console platform.
i was owning ps4/xbox users in quickplay just the same as switch. i dont see the problem.
id rather find matches a lot faster. you cant play competetive on switch at night.
