I am having issues controlling my heroes in the Switch version of the game. I lose control of the character and they run off in different directions. Also it seems to kick me from games too.
The behaviors you are describing sounds much more like severe latency issues rather than a technical issue with your controller. Consider going through this troubleshooting guide.
