Switch 2 edition?

I’m desperately awaiting a Switch 2 edition update. It’s been some 5 months since the Switch 2 launched and I haven’t heard a peep about development for the new hardware.

Lately I’ve been in love with the split gyro layout for FPS titles on Switch. Gyro on the Joycon 2’s has been much improved, but mouse support doesn’t have a great showcase just yet. I hated the implementation in Fortnite (Forced mouse acceleration with no way to turn it off), but Apex had decent mouse support. (I just don’t like Apex to begin with. Mouse control felt great in Apex though.)

I feel there would need to be significant attention given to mouse mode settings for the switch 2 version.

Lastly, If there’s an incoming switch 2 version, a 120FPS mode would be excellent.

Sadly nobody at blizzard noticed that Switch 2 is a thing.

I’ve gave up cause it’s never gonna come

I would be even fine with bumping resolution and locking us at 40 FPS (in 120Hz container) for now so S2 users do not have such a big advantage in the Switch pool. For now that would be enough, more features later.

There is a rumor that S2 dev kits are very sparse and even big game studios cannot get them.

I actually quite liked the mouse controls in Cyberpunk. CPDR went above and beyond with the Switch 2 copy of Cyberpunk 2077.

Just like the YT for Switch 2!

Yeah…

We’ll totally get YouTube to work on Switch 2 guys… Maybe… never…

We absolutely need this!

nobody plays in the switch pool lmfao cross play in on by default. i bet a lot that the last match in the switch pool was in overwatch 1

Low playercounts on switch 1 currently isn’t the point - Switch 2’s gyro is arguably better than other platforms due to the split layout - mouse mode is also ideal for competitive play - the performance of switch 1 is just not very good, so being able to play the game on switch 2 with that performance bump at 120fps would be ideal.

and, for comfort
Metroid prime style aiming with a center deadzone and reticle that floats within the deadzone but turns the camera in a customizable outer ring radius could also help with alleviating some motion sickness that gyro can sometimes give the player
