I’m not a nintendo user (last time I used a nintendo product was the wii ). but I like to follow tech news.
it seems that nintendo switch2 has some sort of sensor that simulates the mouse. so… do you think it’s interesting for overwatch gameplay? for all FPS gameplays?

Looks genuinely innovative and cool they took a leaf out of Lenovo Legion GO’s book!
It will depend really heavily on how (well) it actually works and the extent to which developers implement it.
Sony controllers have ample gyro sensors for example, but I don’t think any FPS I’ve played on my PS4 implements gyro control. (Mind you, gyro itself has ergonomic limitations and does not work well for large movements, which means an ideal implementation would be easily toggled on and off as needed, which isn’t necessarily trivial to do).
But I think the short answer is no. Modern home consoles already technically can use full mouse and keyboard if the developers want to, but it rarely gets implemented well (if at all) and most players stick to conventional console controls.
Any games where it’s in crossplay with different consoles I expect simply wouldn’t have it enabled if even implemented.
We all laughed at Switch users. Who is worse? Microsoft is the way they describe you in bed or PlayStation is how they describe me? But everyone could agree that Switch was not even in the discussion. Now they will reign supreme over us all.

Marvel Rivals will almost certainly come to Switch 2 + Mobile at some point!

As someone who owns LLGO, I’ve found zero use for this feature. Lenovo would’ve done better by discarding much of the niche functionality, like removable controllers, in favor of keeping the price of the system down, imo.

It already had gyro, which is arguably just as good as a mouse, Splatoon 4 with mouse aim when?
I’ll be absolutely shocked if it’s not the worst mouse on the market. I’m expecting enormous input latency.
