Suzu shouldn't boop

If they were extremely powerful compared to the rest as you claim, they would not be the role with the least players.

Simple logic, not hard to figure out.

What’s that?
Hog’s take a breather reduces damage taken, contorts his head hitbox, feeds his ult and heals him?

Sigma’s primary can detonate on impact or after a certain flight time, can bounce against walls, has aoe damage AND has a much toned down version of orissa’s halt on every explosion?

I’m sure I can find more and better examples proving that 3 or more effects is a commonplace occurence, but I do have better things to do.

none of the stuff you’re saying has 3 effects

  • cleanse, invuln, knockback
  • aoe damage, heal amp, burst heal, heal negate (ana’s nade)
  • mov speed, firerate and reload rate, cdr (kitsune)
  • heal,damage, slow (sojourn prepatch)

these kind of cooldowns are just forever broken unless they removed stuff from them. cause you do too much with a button push even more if it’s a lookdown hit e button.

hog’s e is just self-heal, damage reduce. don’t make up stuff at your own convenience. I’m also using “3” effects to make it easier to convey the idea, yeah there might be more to each cooldown, but the ones of this kind are just omni-problem solving buttons and it’s really bad design.

Suzu shouldn’t even do half of that list. It really should be nerfed, and in exchange heal for more. Cleanse + Heal 125, or Invincibility + Heal 100.

I used overwatch fandom, self healing abilities charge your ult, that’s an effect even if it doesn’t suit your narrative.

His hitbox changing due to his animation, you could argue about not being an effect but even there, you’re wrong:
You press the button, animation plays.

That’s basic cause and effect.

Yes these are all terrible abilities that have been broken at various stages in OW.

I mean, while we’re at it, let’s tone down Ana’s nade. You know, the ability that has been in the game since a month after launch of OW1, does an equal number of things as Suzu, and is on an even shorter cooldown?

I didn’t consider it so now that you make me think about it, suzu also gives a 50hp aoe burst heal that heals and charges ult, so let’s count the ult charging effect let’s say 4 of instead of 3, make it 5? it’s still more than that, lol. I don’t care about the number but if you add it as a constant, the result is the same, it’s too much makes the game worse.

if you line those up with all the buttons the other characters have suzu it’s still on top of the list… and cooldowns like that have always been problematic for the game.

You all need to stop considering knockback abilities as just environmental kills machines. Boops are much more than that. Of course no one is going to waste Suzu to try to boop someone off the map. It still can mess up enemies diving/Rushing your team, while also healing, cleansing and giving invul to your teammates at the same time.

i think the boop is a hillarious bonus feature that should be protected at all costs.
