Hi, guys! I think that a surrender button would be great! What do you think? I think that it would be really uselful when you have potato team mates. Let me know your opinion.

No. That would discourage teamwork and make people just surrender when they don’t get their own way.

I could see it being abused.
Do you require everyone on the team to agree to it to surrender? One person is going to hold out just to waste everyone else’s time.
Do you require a simple majority to surrender? Throwing groups are going to surrender as early as possible to derank and drag down the others who got teamed with them.

Csgo has this and if you have a group of 2 or 3 and they think the game is over or you suck. They threaten to feed the enemy with free weapons and kills or go afk unless you surrender.
Heck even one guy will do it.
This would get abused so much. Especially with all the deranking and throwing.

Well thats really encouraging getting vote to surrender at the first lost teamfight. And you know thats going to happen.

If the 6 guys surrender, they will lose only 10-15 point it could be a cool feature, I prefer that than people who just flaming and blaming eatch other.

wipe the enemy team. taunt them in all chat to bait an early surrender.

No. People will start to press it as soon as they encounter a problem and it’ll either ruin the match for everyone or, if it requires all 6 teammates, it’ll cause people to throw if not all teammates want to surrender.
Allow me to confess my sin and say that I would smash that button whenever the game would match me with 4 support one tricks in one team.
Some things hurt deeply –
This would only add to the toxicity. Especially against off meta players.
Get off Symmetra or we surrender!!! Sounds lovely. Not.

This is different to switching to Torb how? It’s just another version of it. All the negatives that this option would give. Are pretty much already here. If you’re with a deranking team. You’re going to lose no matter what. So surrendering wouldn’t change much from the outcome.
The game is too fast paced and can often have comebscks. If it was like LoL where an average game lasts over 30 minutes and losing can be very punishing (items make a huge difference in that game), then maybe.
That’s not really the case with Overwatch however. So no, I don’t think there should be a surrender option as I think it will encourage toxicity and for players to simply give up regardless of the vote.
Can’t wait to get a 4-5 stack insta surender to derank themselves all the way to bronze and as a result, solo q players would be drag down there as well.
Seriously, having that will increase the number of derankers in lower rank.
