Am I the only one who thinks that there should be a surrender button in competitive where there is obvious that you cant win, your team doesn’t do good, you don’t do good and the other team is destroying you? I just think it should be added to prevent long games and just people getting bored in spawn when they know they can’t do anything… :l

Oh, yes, I would love that. “We have a Widow and another off-meta, clearly we lost guys, let’s just surrender and move on to the next game.” I just wish it auto surrendered after two people left the game. It is awkward waiting 3 minutes for a game to end.

Re-read this and try to find something wrong with it.
No because no games will ever get finished anymore.
If you have poor teammates use the rest of the match to practice some stuff.
When I say practice I don’t mean pick Widowmaker or Hanzo and do nothing, pick a hero you want to improve on and work on technique or cooldown management.
I agree! Holly poop waiting for 2-3 min to pass before you can leave after a leaver is a total waste of time. There are games that are lost as soon as people instalock certain characters and refuse to switch or switch way too late in the game to make a difference.

This game is not League where the average match lasts 45 minutes, this game is more “direct”, if you will, since the average match lasts 15/20 minutes, but in Quick Play where there is only one round it lasts even less. If your team is getting stomped, you can just wait 5 minutes and afk in base, throwing a random emote whenever the AFK message pops up.

I’d be in favor of a surrender button if there’s a leaver. But not as long as you still have 6 on your team.
at that point I just switch to a fun dps and go out blasting
seems to me you give up to easily and don’t allow yourself to try and make those last minute comeback plays that can tilt a entire match in your favor. 1 or 2 moments, a single act during one moment is what makes a hero. not the 8 minutes inbetween those moments.

There are games that can’t be won … mostly because half the team is tilting. I think you should be able to surrender if all 6 agree.
if all 6 would agree the match should end in under 45 seconds anyways that’s how long it takes to cap the average point. so even with out a button if your lossing THAT badly the match will end soon. there’s no need to add a discouragement button that people can use a crutch a feel better about their mistakes because everyone evenctually gives in.
better stop playing him, otherwise you’ll get banned for being too good with those stats.

I would rather have the option to surrender only when someone decides to leave a comp match. I HATE having to play a losing battle. It is mentally exhausting and what makes me get really brunt out of the game more quickly.
