The most precious and cherished members of this community. I was playing Trash (Clash) in open queue and acting like a petulant child. I started as Doomguy, but everyone else chose DPS except for a lone kitsune. Little did I realize what was about to happen as I muttered profanities to myself. I was completely demoralized at the lack of help in-game that I decided to just give up and play as that degenerate ninja, the young Mastah.
I was absolutely an entitled loser, but that was when this noble and pure Kiriko sacrificed herself to save me even though they pushed us to our spawn and I was not even trying to fight on point. I just wanted it to end. A disgusting Elsa cosplayer was spraying me with icy hot and our beautiful protagonist used her sacred cleanse on ME! I instantly snapped out of my bratty attitude, thoroughly corrected.
I selected Doomfist and decided to try my best because that angel was trying their best and it was disrespectful to stoop to the level of a queue dodger. That’s when it happened. The planets aligned and the goddess rewarded me with the bountiful gift of Cratered on my main account. My most coveted achievement ever since that random Winston that I will never forget decided to abandon his team to dive a turret on Horizon Lunar Colony 7 years ago.
I do not know how to feel. Do I deserve this? I only have it because a humble support player that went 1-8 taught me the valuable lesson to never give up. Good things come to those who try. Stop being a little beta… There are probably other moral and ethical implications here. I wanted to send them a heartfelt message. Thank you for supporting me. Thank you for helping me. Thank you for allowing me to see reason. They will never understand the gratitude I felt for that Suzu. It was probably just another horrible game of Overwatch for them, but they made my night. I am so happy.
If you are like this Kiriko and play the game to enable others and bring a tiny bit of joy to their game. I love you. Perhaps the playerbase believes tank players are the most important. Maybe the developers prioritize DPS for monetary reasons… But you da real MVP.
