Seeing as he just replied with what can be summarized as: “NUH UH!” - I don’t genuinely think there’s any valid argument that one can make.
Because your assessment on it is exactly how I feel. I don’t have a disdain for those abilities (Fade, Ice Block, Wraith Form, Burrow) as forms of “invulnerability” because no one that has played the game for more than a minute will understand how they are vastly different than Immortality Field or OW2 launch Suzu (with the CD now, it’s honestly not as annoying as it was. It also helps counter Ana.) - which are much more annoying in the grand scheme of things. Baptiste is super under the radar overloaded and probably would get noticed as such if he was played more often.
It actually doesn’t remove it anymore. It does do a chunk of damage to it, but they removed how it interacted a while ago when they changed Lucio’s ult from providing shields to overhealth.
Oof. Don’t flatter yourself, Hyphen. You simply don’t matter enough to me to waste emotional energy on, let alone to get to a point where I’m seething. You are overvaluing yourself.
Perhaps if you weren’t so demonstratably angry, you would have seen that I did agree with you on there being trade-offs and that I agree with you on Bap not having a fair trade-off.
It’s a free kill if she was silly enough to use it in a situation where she was outnumbered, and already used Wall. Otherwise, no, it’s just a “let me heal up and re-engage in the same fight while my team pushes in as well”. Or a 1v1 where she’s not healed to recover and win.
I see it used effectively a lot. In some usages, yes, it’s very punishable. In a lot, it is not. And again, it’s a good reload and heal, in additiona to her other zoning.
It’s a quarter of a second of invulnerability (0.25 seconds).
We can include that if you’d like.
I think we should also then include Tracer’s recall, since it lasts .91 seconds and is an instant cast whereas Swift Step has a cast time. And heals her.
Not to mention you just don’t seem to understand “balance” especially in a team game. You were probably one of the kids on the playground that kept making up powers because you couldn’t handle being at a disadvantage. Remarks aside the game is essentially rock paper scissors with supports being paper tanks being rocks and dps being scissors. Since they messed with that formula the game has tanked in sales until it was free, then in player count after small spikes. But go ahead take your buffs and watch as the game dies just so selfish supports can feel safer. Not like you need other people to play the game with you or anything .
“What you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought.”
“Everyone in this room is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”
I think OW2 made the game problematic.
Every new hero (mostly) does more than they should.
Before, it was, “This hero does this,” and now it’s “This hero does this, this, and this.”
And don’t get me wrong, it’s more fun to do more, but it creates this disparity with the old heroes and confuses the roles.
Maybe it’s time to change and reclassify the names and the structure of the roles.
Supports aren’t supports anymore and maybe DPS shouldn’t just be DPS.
They said Stadium had the highest in its first week at 50%, yes.
Are you forgetting that they also said the first OW Classic was the most played gamemode, higher than Stadium’s 50%, in its first week? And that it also dropped hard after that first week?
They’ve said nothing since and Stadium has only gotten worse. We got that 50% number after a single week, unlike the numbers for OWC which we got after its run was over.
It is undeniably lower now that the fresh new toy has been played with, and also there’s QP Stadium to split the queues even further.
Also Stadium’s RQ so the most played mode is still RQ lolololololol
Me when I lie and have zero understanding of anything that Blizzard says.
“Said Andough, while continuously replying to Hyphen out of nowhere, with insults/shade and no provocation”.
Buddy your very post is proof that you are doing that. You just played yourself.
Thats the good thing about facts:
It doesn’t matter how much you hate the person dropping them, they are still facts.
You can say that, but again, not being able to shoot AND being static is an INSANE drawback. Lets compare that drawback to any other immortality from Supports and have a laugh. Thats the point (which is a trillion % fair and true).
We can but then again, Kiriko TP >>>> Tracer recall.
Literally the only “con” that TP has is that you need an Ally for that. Thats it.
The whole thing comes from someone comparing DPS mobility skills with the immortality on CD from Supports. That was absurd but god forbid any Support main admits that. As we can see, people will fight it with tooth and nail but reality is not changing
