easiest most broken role in the game since day 1 made even more broken with a buff it didn’t need . this playerbase is just slow to realize things .
Which is less consistent and as a result much harder to hit the head; more often than not it will be a body shot which is an insanely high TTK.
She moves at the same speed as him and has a hard time consistently hitting shots because it’s a slow projectile.
Heck, you’re complaining about a support hero that is struggling at every level right now despite the hero she was designed to counter being in around 80% of teams.
If you’re arguing that supports have too much damage then yeah you’re right.
Bap and Ana damage needs to be nerfed, and Kiriko’s ult needs a nerf. Zen is the only support who should have high damage.
Bap, Ana and Kiriko are literal definitions of ‘having it all’. There is not a single thing their kit lacks.
OP does because he probably pays them. lol
If you don’t like playing them, then don’t. I know that is a novel idea but if you dislike playing them, then never pick them.
Never listen to a streamer/“influencer” - They are there to make money. They are there to create issues, rock the boat and otherwise disrupt so that sheep watch them, get their hit of dopamine and want more. You would not watch them if all was well and good - because that is boring.
Now I have to ask – “Influencer”?? They can’t be good at their job, not a one has ever influenced me to do anything, say anything, buy anything, etc.
Seems pretty popular though. Flex queues give me tank 70% of the time, and dps slightly more than support.
Ana damage isn’t that strong. Her kit is op but her damage is absolutely managable, she is easy target whenever she doesn’t have her cooldowns, especially nade which is next to impossible to miss at closer ranges and is guaranteed 100 extra hp.
Bap should get a self-sustain nerf, not a damage nerf. The only fun part of his kit is his mobility and damage. He is basically a higher skill Moira, more burst potential but less free escape tool and aim requirements. Creating off angles like dps would and easy access to highgrounds is why he is fun to play. You don’t play Bap for lamp in OW2, it’s really not that good to pick Bap specifically for that. So why do you pick Bap? Because of reliable damage and good heals. He himself should be easier to kill, but don’t take away his damage.
Kiriko ult feels like it’s on par with other support ultimates. It’s as game changing as Transcendence, Nano or Beat, it’s likely to win you the teamfight if you don’t respond with other ultimate, but ult vs ult Kitsune Rush absolutely can lose to Sound Barrier, getting Shattered, Graved etc.
I’ve one tricked Lucio for 3 years, so hopefully my opinion is more reliable to people.
Anyways, op is somewhat right, but really the power creep from over the years stayed, and are still here. Hell, zen still has his orb which is unchanged, Kiriko is still stupid, Mercy was changed to make movement easier for some reason, Zen got a better Lucio boop, etc.
Basically, support is being made easier and even more impactful every day, and it’s getting really out of hand. It’s taking less effort for support hero’s to do things.
Imagine if Lucio’s beat was on a 40 sec cooldown, a 5 second amp with a 10 sec cooldown, boop did 50 damage with more knockback on a 3 second cooldown, and projectiles did 25 damage.
If that was all true, he’d be on the same level as supports, that’s the real problem.
I don’t think it’d be that gutting if he got an ammo reduction nerf. His raw dps is fine, what seems to be the problem to me is that he can just dump out damage for what feels like forever.
I do agree that a sustain nerf wouldn’t be terrible, either. There was nothing wrong with old regen burst, but current RB honestly feels like crap if you’re going up against an enemy or Bap himself, nearly have them dead, and he hits shift and everything you just did against him becomes invalidated.
Lamp needs to be reworked entirely for Overwatch 2. We don’t have it yet, but I don’t doubt that eventually we’ll get something akin to a bunker tank again in the future. And while it’s situational use on a long cooldown now, it’s gonna be a nightmare if something like old Orisa pops up again.
?? It absolutely is for a support. It doesn’t need to be that high, idk why Blizzard are so uptight in making sure her damage is the exact same as her healing.
So tell me again why nade shouldn’t get a nerf but Bap’s damage/immort shield should? His damage keeps the Phara and flankers at bay if there’s no one to protect supports. Hell I wouldn’t mind if they revert it back what it was in season 2, but there’s shouldn’t be any complaint if you or anyone dies to riptire
Yup, that too. He has 45 ammo which translates to 1125 dmg per clip. Soldier in comparison has only 540. Cass 420, 840 when you spend Roll to reload. Bap can shoot forever, Zen as well. It doesn’t matter much for them if they miss outside of of course missing on some damage. If Cass doesn’t land shots he spends a lot of time reloading and not doing damage. Bap can fight 3 people and still have some ammo left lol.
It’s fine. It can’t headshot so it doesn’t burst you like Zen or Bap can and it’s firerate isn’t amazing. Zen can do 60 dmg orbs every 0.4 seconds which give him 150 dps. Bap has like 127 dps or sth. Ana has 93. Fire rate matters a lot when you talk about damage numbers.
Yes, she can three tap people from range. But it’s nothing special really, just because its a support, doesn’t mean she should be harmless and do nothing lol. Really, damage isn’t a concern in her kit. It’s her insane cooldowns. Without them she dies easily to most of the characters which I can’t say about Bap, Zen or Moira. I added Moira on this list because her beam self-heals her which does a lot to her survability outside of Fade and orbs. As long you space properly, you can be a tough target to kill even without cooldowns. Ana that’s getting dove without her nade is pretty much dead.
