I’m currently at GM-4 and I’ve been waiting about 20-30 minutes to get a game. Tank and DPS time is about 1-4 minutes. It’s very frustrating, especially if someone leaves and now you’re back to re-queue (+ 15-20 minutes).

Yes. They’re nerfing supports. xD
The only way to lower queue times is to significantly widen the acceptable ranges in match making
That would decrease game quality a lot.
So it’s a case of what do you want.
Well support is strong rn and the nerfs didn’t do much so it will probably stay the same. Miss insta queuing support the early seasons it’s obnoxious to grind ranked.
Queues take longer at higher ranks because the total size of the playerbase in your pool is a lot smaller.
GM being like top 3% of players give or take.
So unless you want it to prioritise faster queue but lower quality matches (which is what everyone complained was awful) it’s gonna stay like it is.
The problem too is the huge disparity in quality between say GM1 vs GM5 too means people don’t wanna play around it.
I believe that 6v6 solved that by allowing another player to exist thus reducing the negative effects one player can have in a lobby… which is why 5v5 feels so boooty atm. If you dont play perfectly you lose, even though you know you could do it… which is why overwatch has become more frustrating to play in all roles…
