Let’s be honest, Sombra counters and has good match ups against literally the entire support roster.
Do not be surprised when support players vote to ban her. Frequently.
In fact, I’d say that it’s time the support community comes together and agrees to just default ban her every match.
She is by far the most unfun aspect of this entire game. And that says a lot when we have the likes of Widow running around.
Sombra is the least of my worries when I play Support
More like tracer or genji. Sombra can be shooed off easily.
A good Tracer can be rough. But at least you can see her coming.
I’ve never had much of an issue with Genji.
Honestly, since the last rework she’s worse for tanks than supports again. I don’t care that much on support but she can really make my life miserable on tank.
As a support, it’s easy to deal with her. You’re already in the back with your eyes more open to everything.
Tanks is who you should be pointing the finger at. They have always hated Sombra. And for good reasons.
Genji is so damn annoying with the +25 HP… and Tracer with the 3 blink reset perk
True, however, even with her new perks- she is just annoying, but not really someone I would ban.
Jokes on them. Tracer destroys them faster and easier. 
There’s at least five players on the team, so it’s not like that’s determinative.

Lol what, the only supports who would want sombra banned every match is most likely mercy one tricks.
I think they’d would be doing themselves a disservice tbh. Sombra is annoying yes but she’s far from the best flanker and you’re only increasing the chances of playing against a Tracer/Genji or whatever other flanker that’s better. If you’re goal is to have fun then it makes sense. As far as winning games it’s not the smartest ban choice. Tracer especially with her new perks is so much better than Sombra it’s actually disgusting lol.
Sometimes you get tired of having to go Kiri, Moira, or Brig wvery match.
Other supports can deal with Sombra than just those three.
She’s really only super effective vs. Zen, Mercy, and maybe an Ana who has poor aim / no cooldowns.
It’s called a hard counter. Pretty much every hero in the roster has one.
Unless you don’t freak out every time you see a Sombra in the lobby.
You guys always want the path of least resistance instead of working to improve whenever you’re presented with a challenge.

Who hard counters Sombra?
No one really. Her skill ceiling isn’t that good so a hard counter is kinda redundant. If you’re team is vaguely aware of her and peel for your supports she can’t do much. She’s not like a tracer/Genji who can dominate even vs their counters because the skill ceiling for them is pretty high.
You can, but I’m not wasting a ban on her. I’d rather use it on actually overpowered heroes like Sojourn or heroes that actually pose a threat like Genji.
If they have Sombra, a Kiriko and Brig will instantly make her life Hell.
I’d say Kiriko. If she’s within range to hack you, then you’re at range to hit some fairly easy headshots. You shouldn’t be dying to her hack, since it’s easy to ward her off. And if she EMPs or you suspect she has it, you bait it out, teleport to your team and suzu your team.
This, sombra is annoying but Tracer and Genji have always been worse. Sombra isn’t even good rn so why bother lol
