My idea of how supports should be balanced rn. Tell me what yall think.
- Moira:
I’d raise the damage per second on her m2 damage beam to 70 dps, but reduce the cross sectional area of the beam by an amount so that
the average plat player gets the same value out of morias m2
the average bronze players gets less value out of morias m2
the avg gm players gets more value out of moiras m2.
Basically, improve her reward by mechanical skill. It would give her more playmaking potential where she needs it, it would ghost nerf tracer in high elo, it would ghost buff tracer in low elo, etc. It would make her less “no skill beam go brr” and stop the playerbase resenting having to play her so much when she is meta, because she will have the same skillset as zarya.
- Ana
Buff her damage to 75 from 70 so she can 2 shot tracer, and take away the instant healing on nano boost. She never had that before and shouldn’t need it now. Genji and pharah can get compensation buffs for the loss of synergy. My point is that ana in the pro scene is only played in ult based comps where genji or pharah are picked. This change would keep her playmaking potential on ladder but make her more versatile in scrim settings. I’m not talking about how genji or pharah could be buffed in compensation because idc im talking about supports OwO
- Mercy
her gun becomes hitscan, with damage nerfs. The point is simply to give her the agency that people feel she still lacks, put her on the same playing field with the other supports in terms of playstyle variation, make valk an potentially threatening ultimate in more ways, allow people to enjoy playing the hero who normally wouldn’t without upsetting the players who already do. I think hitscan mercy pistol with dps nerfs would do wonders for the health of the hero.

Nerf his heal grenade to 55 from 60. His power level changes really drastically around these numbers, but I would rather preserve his damage potential than his healing, because his damage potential is a bigger thrust of his skill ceiling imo and what arguably makes him even more discriminating than zen or ana on mechanics. Revert window to its old size. That buff was bizarre. Also make lamp simply require to finish its deployment animation before it activates its effect. Atm it activates instantly

Nerf his boop distance by reverting that patch where all the momentum changes happened. SCREW THAT PATCH. Increase his aura size a lil bit so he can actually maybe be played with zen and ana a bit more which in this house we like. Maybe increase his projectile speed a lil bit because he’ll lose playmaking potential from boop nerf? nice
