Well played, Blizzard. Well played indeed.
Has been for a long while in my region.
Why play victim roles when can hold M1 for free win?
Yet it’s also the one you’re forced to play 10x as much as the others for weeklies, really well thought out system
well ya its the only real role you as an individual can make a real impact
What game mode are you playing? I can count on one hand I’ve seen support anything other than “less than 1 minute” for que time. But I play QP.
Its mostly likely due to battle pass challenges, as supports are very good for doing most of them. As the season come to a close, more people are trying to complete the battle pass before time runs out.
Heroes like Brig, Moira and Kirko can cover most of the repeated weekly challenges.
role que master rank
So it’s the least needed role then…are you trying to say there are less dps players?
ya the game is dying and looks like dps left first
I often get the assist done as tank. So between the 5-7 games or so as support, and tank games I complete the healing and assists.
When I queue qp for dps and support, i certainly get dps a lot more. It was fairly popular in ow1, but seems even more popular in ow2. Support that is.
Tanks first, now dps.
tanks never arrived so they don’t count
Tank was the longest queue at the start of OW2.
In my last session DPS was the XP bonus role.
It’s almost like we told them… If you repeat the excessive sustain design mistakes of OW1 (the very mistakes that drove away the playerbase and necessitated OW2 to be made in the first place to salvage the IP) then you’ll repeat the same outcome.
I truly don’t understand this dev. They knew that increased lethality, increased individual impact and faster fights were paramount to OW2’s success. They said these things were core to their revised design philosophy. They spent millions in rebalancing the game to achieve it.
Has there ever been a developer in history capable of destroying their own game faster than Blizz?
In the beginning this game felt like COD. Instant fights that lasted half a second.
You can always go back to COD if you want some mindless arcade fun
I think it’s more that dive is running wild and the TTK is so low that it’s incredibly frustrating to just get melted down and feel helpless to do anything about it.
They made OW2 to have a PvE sequel, then they scrapped that and decided it was just a monetization patch for OW1 with 1 fewer tank.
Faster fights are still a thing. They’re even faster in many cases.
It’s not fun getting deleted nearly instantly.
Wow people still use the COD comparisons? Only thing they indicate is that you have clearly never played COD and possibly have never played Overwatch either.
I submit the talent who created the original left long ago.
