And this is coming from a sup main. This category desperately needs about 5+ new heroes. I like playing dps. I’ve fallen back into loving playing tank. Sup is the only role I’m genuinely bored to play. I’m not even enjoying playing any of them and love them all minus Moira, Bap.
I don’t have the answers but multiple new characters are needed so bad. Support needs an extreme injection of life ironically lol

I agree, supports need more heroes. But we shouldn’t mess with current supports that don’t need any changes.
Yeah, I don’t think making changes to the current supports is needed. I just think we need more options asap.
Still makes ya wonder what Overwatch would be like if everybody had the regen passive, and Supports got that +10% move speed passive.
Because the most dull part about supports is healing up chip damage, and out of combat heals.
Or maybe make it so that everybody has a “Multiplier of more healing received after #sec of not taking damage”.

Well a portion of it is probably because DPS/Tanks got more solo-carry and burden removed from them.
Supports, mostly got harder. And if you’re a mercy player, then your value got reduced a lot.
Ana, got perhaps more carry potential, but at the cost of making other Support not be able to Support. And just making other healers less worthwhile by comparison.
Its still engaging because you have to keep people up and attack others which no one else can do. Its just stale because its the same 7heroes for year.

I think fox girl would add more variety, but depending on her kit … I think Supports needs some tweaking and adjustments.
I think the teams are the problem. They just sit in the open face tanking damage, and if you don’t heal them they die in the blink of an eye, so you just end up being a heal bot rather than making your own plays.
Not just new heroes but needs more stimuli, they need some more satisfying sounds ques and things like that to let players know that they are doing well, healing a target to full hp doesn’t compare to getting a kil which gives you a satisfying sound, and a pop up on the kill feed so everyone knows you’re doing well
I agree, I really want a new Support already, Bap was the last one and he was released all the way back at March of 2019, that’s years ago.
We need a new support, badly and desperately.
IMO support is the best it’s ever been. They are very powerful at the moment.
Supports have way too much pressure. You have to be doing 50’000’000’000’000 actions a second. The minute you look away from a teammate theyre either dead or almost dead.
Power does not equal fun or enjoyable to use
Boring because of no new heroes. I’ve felt like this since OW1. I did stop playing for a long while but I’m pretty sure there’s been no new support for yrs now.
With the same abilities as always but without the stun.
Never said she is bad but she is less fun for me.
And Idk if I want to get used to her, tbh. I think I will not play supports until the devs make some (fun) changes
Yeah. Queue times in the beta are unbearable if you don’t want to play support, so I flex, get support, regret it. (As a support main, ffs!) It’s a slog. Next (this?) week’s change to Moira can’t come sooner, but they absolutely should have tested the water with a new support here when the tank category already had multiple hero reworks to play around with, imo.
Yep, last support was Baptiste in March 2019. There have been 2 DPS and 2 Tanks (3 if you count Doom’s rework, I guess?) since then. Tanks, fair enough; they needed it, too. DPS was already overloaded with options, however, and this had even been recognised by devs. Obscene we’ve had to wait this long tbh, lol. But as long as Ana gets to remain queen, I guess.
