Decided to start playing support again because I gave tank the old college try. Why have I won 9 games straight on just bap and illari. I out dps most hero’s just by standing still and shooting. What has this game come to. Unironically feel illari is healthy, her ult is a little much considering its the best dps ult in the game for killing the backline, but she is fun and rewards skill. Ana however feels lackluster because it feels like sleep is borderline too weak, I know anti is strong, but other supports just seem so much more consistent and just secrete value like prime brig with the infinity stones.
Pick overtuned, so you generalize the entire role?
Bad faith argument.
Maybe you just suck at playin tank ?
I’m higher on tank. Tank is strong just feels awful. Support is just miles better in my honest opinion.
That’s like picking only Cass and Tracer and wondering why DPS is OP.
My bad lmao. I’m not a support main just picked it up. I play genji, I’m used to getting no value now I’m stuffed with it when i play support. I don’t want to make it sound like support is easy, but some of the skill floors are lower than other hero’s and they get massive value from basically nothing.
it’s like looking at a duck - above water, it looks gracefull. but underwater, it’s paddling really hard.
It might be a rank thing, then.
I’m masters? I guess it could be, but I know I’m not alone when i say tank feels awful to play.
I get where you’re coming from but I think you’re mistaking somethings. The support role might seem strong to you because YOU are playing support. I would consider switching to being a support main, it’s a pretty fun role after all! But yeah, if you’re winning as support more than the other roles then that probably means you’re just better at playing support than anything else. But it’s up to you!
Illari overtuned? Did I miss some buff in my 3 months break?
ye funny to be chased by tracer genji moira all games and none in your team give a dam and complain about heals
Are you master rank in both roles?
Yes, I play dmg at m1 and m2 my tank currently sits at m4. Support is diamond though.
So it’s still a difference of roles.
I’m pretty sure the spread of people who you play with is going to be bigger in diamond than it is with masters. (not sure)
so if that’s true, you could be playing with lower ranks who you do have an advantage over, so it might seem stronger?
Supports still dictate this game, despite many supports saying this game cater to dps and tanks. Many sup ults are better than tank/dps ults. Illari’s ult is killing more than many dps ults. And having two supports is too much and make this game very sweaty. Also, supports have abilities/utilities that are much the same as an ult (Rez, Immortality Field, Suzu, Nade etc).
If you Blade/Visor, they use Beat, LW’s ult, Nano, etc…
They used ult to counter your ult so what exactly is the problem?
You happened to pick the two S tier supports. Those two are easy right now (just like tracer/cass/etc. are easy on DPS right now)
I don’t have a problem if it’s used to counter, but they shouldn’t be better and shut down my ult that is made to make damage. Sombra used to counter LW’s ult. Not anymore. And the majority of the rest of supports ults are still better than any dps ult. Illari can wipe four squishes, but try that with Blade/Visor/Blossom, all them are a meme.
You did the most damage, but how many kills did it actually secure you?
That’s like someone on Moira saying “WELL I HAVE THE HIGHEST DAMAGE IM SO OP” meanwhile, most of that damage didn’t secure a kill and was chip damage.
Having the highest of anything doesn’t prove anything lol.
Their ult is made to make save someone. If it doesn’t it’s useless. Beat and transcendence have been in the game since day 1. Illari is only going around getting 4k against complete potatoes or combo with several other ults.
Tracer isn’t even S tier this season dude
