Support for Mouse and Keyboard

Hello Blizzard team,

I hope you’re doing well!
I’m a big fan of Overwatch and I really enjoy playing it on console. I wanted to kindly suggest adding native support for mouse and keyboard on consoles (PlayStation/Xbox). I believe this option would make the game more accessible and enjoyable for many players who prefer this control method, especially in a fast-paced and competitive game like Overwatch.

It would also help level the playing field for crossplay matches and give more freedom of choice to console players.

I’ve always been totally fine with this as long as those players get placed with other M+KB users (i.e. the PC pool).

There would be two sets, one would be people who use KBM & the other would be controller users.

Yes, I was keeping my post simple, but ultimately they’d need to refactor the pools based on input type instead of platform.

dont people use kbd and mouse anyways, always hearing about ximming and cronus for consoles

Sure. Just make sure you have those mouse and key people on console, play with PC players.

The solution to solving the ximming problem:

Remove aim assist entirely.

Or just give aim assist to everyone. PC players are so jealous of it. It’s time they learned reality, boy. Enjoy! :smirk:

The nintendo switch version has Gyro controls if that helps.

The only way overwatch should be played is on mouse and keyboard, as an ex controller player
