Ikr but tons of air healing has been added since and tons of damage has been added since along with dumb tanks aka Sig, Ball and Orisa
Oh! That’s pretty simple.
Lucio had much more range before healing a ton of HP.
Zen discord orb had 50% damage penality before not 30%.
ALSO! With the removall of symm as a support and transforming the support role into “Healer” role the whole category transformed mostly into healbots when they started increasing damage for tanks and dps.
Lucio/Brig is at least B tier on KOTH. So much AoE healing because it’s the perfect environment for Brig to brawl with her team.
Doesn’t deserve to be in the same tier as Lucio/Mercy who have no niche or synergy whatsoever.
I think this is A because it has no defense ults but very good offensive ult combos.
Tbh this is underrated and should be low S. You have high utility mixed with extremely high heals and 2 of the best support ults
Most definitely not a B tier support comp…. Unless this is for ranked then B is a good rating

i’d day brig lucio is better than brig mercy since at least it had a defensive ult it’s like their crap versions of a certain comp mercy brig a crap version of brig zen lúcio brig a crap version of bap brig
Lucio Brig is more of a crap version of Lucio/Moira.
At least Mercy can do her job with Brig and they have very good peel.

Well yeah that’s a terrible idea, which is why I stated KOTH is their niche together. Mercy/Lucio on the other hand is a terrible comp in every scenario. Like I said, they don’t deserve to be in the same tier.

I love pressuring bap lol, in a comp game earlier I flank and take zen out and he use immortality and i didn’t stop attacking him and then he use his ult but i faded through it and gottem lol

Lucio had his rework early 2017. For much of the time he was meta, all of season 5, it was with low range. Also zen was at 30% discored then too. It got nerfed back in sept 2016.
It was meta because there were 4 supports total(not counting sym), and they were the best 2 with dive pre mercy rework. Kills were quick, healing was low, all the Sustain came from support ults.
I was a Lucio OTP in 16/17 lol

Lucio/Brig is really good on control maps with brawl comps. It’s only crap with uncoordinated teammates who play spread apart. If everyone moves as a unit, it’s perfectly fine.
Support Duos are extremely tricky to try to rate and judge, even in a tier list. I’ll just generally tell you what is the #1 worst set-up in Supports, then a couple of the best as of currently. The worst one will be Brig-Zen. These both output the least amount of healing in the game, so pairing these 2 together is bad in that direction. Also, the way both of the healers like to play, one more up-close and personal, the other favoring the distance more, pairing these styles of gameplay together is really tricky to preform in a team set-up, properly. Honestly, I’d be safer running any other type of healer set-up over this, even the likes of Lucio-Brig can actually work well if people group up and push with both healers, like in a Deathball set-up for example.
Some of the best I know of tend to be Ana-Brig, Bap-Brig or Zen, and Ana-Mercy. Ana-Brig is just naturally powerful, especially if you Nano the Brig to make Raid Boss, I’ve preformed this and teams just scared themselves so bad, they kinda get rekt. Just remember to focus squishies in Raid Boss combo and you might be ok. I hear that Bap has been real strong as of late, but I don’t remember if he was usually paired with the Brig or the Zen that make the set-up currently one of the best. It’s either the great, powerful DPS output of Bap and Zen that did the trick, or the Bap and Brig with the strong survivability of both characters that did the trick. Finally, you get Ana-Mercy. Both healers r real powerful, in my opinion. The Rez is always handy to have, and Ana with Nano and Nade and such is real good too. Just the heals in this set-up r just really strong, with all the utility both Mercy and Ana offer to the team is just sweet!
So, I hope this might help clarify things up a little bit. I can’t check every single duo becuz some of the duos and reactions of the duos and such, I can’t keep track of all of them, so that is y I cannot judge and rate the entire tier list, like I normally would. But, I hope you do understand where I’m coming from with the response that I gave to you. Some of this is just naturally by experience, some was just from research and some was from watching OWL. As of late, I know, OWL isn’t the most trustworthy thing cuz of the bans that they have to go through currently, but it still has it’s moments where I can see what is actually going on in the meta without the bans being involved.

Nah brig/zen is really underrated but it needs a whole team comp around it. Best with ball sigma tracer then second DPS can be whatever. I think it’s the best support duo for ball comps.
