If there is anything that makes people want to come back to a new game, it’s being repeatedly queued and kicked out of the game. Solid start Blizz!
I think after all those years, no one believes Blizzard is capable of learning from their mistakes and have a good launch.
Its the first week, you expect it.
Playing hard to get has never not worked. You need some game, son.
As an ex wow player I can tell you…You’ve seen nothing yet. So far this is fine. If anything it’s going better than expected.
…first time with a Blizz game I see… (those who played the early years of WoW can sympathize)
What if the games is playing hard to get?
sighs …it hasn’t ‘gone live’ yet, I think they’re just letting people queue if they want to…
Funny how retail wow has had smooth launches and patch rollouts for the past decade. At this point, they’re one of few major developers alongside giants like DICE that still manage to snub a serious release. It’s pretty pathetic at this point.
at least those that are getting through are not just getting tossed under the premade group buss getting massacred and pissed off
I’m no Blizzard fan boy, furthest thing from it, but it is basically humanly impossible to kickoff something this big and this complex without any snags. To expect that is to be completely unreasonable or to have zero understanding of what’s involved.
Absolutely shocked that 100k+ (potentially?) people trying to queue into a game at the same time causes issues
I play bethesda games, did the game delete itself on first launch forcing you to redownload it again? No? Good launch then!
Me too. You’d think Blizz would’ve planned for this. Predictably they didn’t though.
They were being sarcastic.
Yeeep it’s not a true Blizzard launch if it’s not fubarred in some capacity.
IKR, blizzard struggles so hard to learn. This happens every time they launch something. wow got ques ow got ques, its crazy. how hard can it be to understand that you need bigger servers the first week or 2 LUL
Welcome to literally any multiplayer game launch
You mean they don’t just press one button and everything instantly starts working?
So not true, ive played tons of them that worked instantly at launch.
