I just wanted to go off the record and ask when is it coming or is it coming because the dates are almost here and ive heard rumours but no official comfirmation. Any thoughts?

Officially, it starts the first Tuesday of August, so August 7. I am expecting skin and event reveals to be posted around the start of or during the weekend.

They definitely want to keep us in suspense. The day is not over, we could still get the trailer today. We could get it next week. The event could start during the perfect date of August 7th, or they could delay it a week. I genuinely have no clue. I would love to believe August 7th when you consider all-star starts on the 25th and Gamescom is around that time as well. In other words, the sooner the better which is why I vaguely bought into July 24 launching with Hammond AND Summer Games.

If they DO release it on August 7th, that would be a first considering the fact that we had no “one week notice” trailer that has been used for many previous events thus far for year 2.
Please God no, that’s the same time as the new Hearthstone expansion, I can’t play both of these games at once!!!
They usually don’t release two events at once involving other Blizzard IP’s so it might be August 8th or 9th then?
