Suggestion to Make Juno's Speed Boost More Fun

Hey all, I really like Juno, but her skills feel a bit bland to me. Here’s why: her self-speed boost and team-speed boost don’t fully stack due to diminishing returns, which makes it awkward to use them together. On top of that, it’s not very clear for new players that her ring passively grants a speed bonus even if allies don’t step inside, making it feel a lot like Lucio’s AoE speed boost. This could be a lot more exciting!

A Suggestion: Make Juno’s Speed Boost Targetable

One of the best moments in the game is helping a single teammate pull off a big play—like Nanoboosting an ulting Gneji or bubbling a hooked / pinned ally. There’s nothing quite like it.

Imagine if Juno’s speed boost could be targeted, allowing her to strategically boost an ally’s speed, whether it’s to help a teammate set up a play, like an ulting Mcree, or escape Bastian’s Artillery strikes, or simple help a teammate flee from danger. To make it even more interesting, this speed could add to their current speed, rather than multiplied —similar to how Nano Boost used to work.

Proposed Changes:

Downsides:

  • Her speed boost would no longer affect all teammates within an area.
  • She wouldn’t be able to boost her own speed. (She still have the Glide Boost).

Upsides:

  • She could target any ally within a wider range.
  • The speed boost could have an increased duration or possibly two charges, adding flexibility and allowing for more strategic use.

I think this change would make Juno feel more unique and satisfying, adding more depth to her support role. What do you think? Would this make her more fun to play?
