I think customising hero specific settings is a great idea, especially being able to customise their reticle for different weapon modes (zoom in, zoom out, both).
It could be further improved if hero specific settings also included “mouse” and “controller” settings. For example, customising widow’s “widow’s kiss” weapon type to have a higher DPI for close ranged targets. While her “zoomed in” weapon has a lower DPI to make targeting easier.
My mouse does have DPI button, but it seems more practical to manually be able to customise your “mouse” and “controller settings” for each hero and their weapon types. Currently these settings are excluded from the hero specific settings and are applied to all heroes and their different weapon modes.
