Suggestion: Google Translate API on match/team chat

I’m not sure what the best place to put this is, but I would be curious if Blizzard has investigated the potential of using the Google Translate API or another similar API for translating text. I play on the Aussie servers and we have a lot of Korean, Japanese and Chinese players and the communication can be very difficult at times, particularly as their alphabets are markedly different from the Roman alphabet so even getting a rough gist without knowing the language is next to impossible.

If there were some kind of in game translation function, I imagine this would make crossing the language barrier a lot easier as it’s currently difficult and it’s unfair to expect either side to learn the other’s language just for the purposes of communicating in game unless they want to do so.

Seems like a good idea but Google translate would have to translate popular sayings as well for example lets use a Sombra voice line.
“camarón que se duerme se lo lleva la corriente”

Google traslate says: Shrimp that falls asleep, it carries current.

If I had direct to translate that I’d say: The shrimp that falls asleep, gets carried away by the current

But in spanish we use the saying as a way to say you snooze you lose

At the very least, it would bring some hilarity to the game. It would be harder for people to be toxic with phrases like that being translated. I know I’d be laughing too hard.
