Doomfist - back to dps, only without the crap uppercut… that way, when the doomfist player refuses to swap the whole game isn’t lost because of it… tank is too important a role to have someone who is stuck on a single character…
Ball - longer cool down for ALL of his movement abilities, larger defensive capabilities, to add value to this, you could make it so when both cooldowns are running, he gets a moderately sized shield. to actually act as a tank and protect his team, this would encourage dynamic gameplay and require him to periodically act defensively like a tank should…
reaper - just drop dire trigger, and in exchange, improve his movement abilities so he can more easily get in and out of engagements, with a slight reduction in his damage this would introduce an ability for him to create pressure, without necesarally having to lock in a kill.
Lifeweaver - make it so if his petal gets destroyed this reduces the time on his dash, or improves his damage for a moment, his petal is great but even with a heal or a damage buff for those who use it, ultimately the petal serves as little more than a survivability option. also, his seed should give a small damage boost, to encourage people to actively seek it. another option is that when he dashes, it could create thorns on the ground where he dashed from creating a movement slowing ability to improve his survivability, or maybe have it do some damage forcing divers to have to be more strategic with their attack patterns.
Sierra - honestly a 5-10% reduction in her base attack speed, and a 10% reduction in her target lock firing rate, a 5% damage increase, and a 5% lock on time limit reduction are an absolute must, no character should be able to guarantee lock ins this easily, she also needs an adjustment to her grenade, right now it requires too little skill to use which makes the character boring and over-effective at low ranks while near useless because she has no high skill cap or ability to improve her at the higher ranks.
Bastion. needs a crit box for tank mode, or less damage, he shouldn’t be both more durable as well as do more damage at the same time, his ability to control the flow of battle is too large.
Rein, needs a shield reduction, or a health reduction, or a damage reduction to his melee strikes, not much, he’s overall in a decent place, but there’s a reason he has the top 2 picks, his shield is too hard to destroy since the newer characters do too little damage to shields, or better yet, increase the damage done to shield by non-projectile damage such as beams. his effectiveness is mostly due to the fact that no one likes to change to bastion or junkrat, and they shouldn’t have to, with such a huge roster there’s no reason there shouldn’t be more characters that can play against him. beam damage needs to do more to shields than it does… and more abilities should go through shields.
Ana, anti grenade should do healing reduction, not complete anti-heal, thats simply overpowered.
Zen, 50% reduction to the increased damage against discord target, instead make it slow attack speed, or, damage, or make it automatically drop off of tanks more quickly. his heal orb needs to do an instant heal when its placed on a low character.
Symetra should be a healer… the support ideas for her were too good to ignore, reduce her beams’ damage, increase their slow, or change them the same way you changed sombra’s virus and make them heal allies instead or slow only.
Torb - his turrets damage should go up, its health should go down as should his cooldown, more turrets more often, but easier to deal with so the key becomes more about maintaining them.
Sojourn reduce the damage of her AOE, increase her base fire damage slightly, reduce the hit of her gauss headshot range. slower charge would do her good too, a perk to encourage sustained damage on a single target would be good for her, IE. her gauss shot does more damage to body shots if 50% or more of the charge was collected from hitting that target for example.
there are some other characters with big issues, but I think this is enough for discussion for now.
