Suggested Junkrat changes

1-one of the stuff i thought about is reworking his gun so it dose not have spam or / and rework some of his abilities so we have a playstyle other than spam and skyrat
2-something else that i thought about is adding fall-off damage to junkrat ( let me cook )
while adding fall-off damage cap the the max damage at 150 while decreasing his mine cooldown by 1 secs
3-Completely rework him

Lets remove his second mine.

Or give him self damage before we buff him.

idk if you are trolling or not but since he cant spam anymore with fall-off damage he needs his second mine to get out also 80% of heros in overwatch counter him

also we are we punishing junkrat that much for simple changes that can easily be dealt with ingame while other heros litterly get value by pressing e or primary fire ?

Just giving him a little more direct hit damage so he can kill 250 hp heroes with nade+mine could be enough.

Its for his two tap one shot.

He can still do a ton of damage with just tow mines and constant spam fire. First. Players should be aiming kore with Junkrat. Two mines shouldn’t be the “go-to” “GOT EM!” moment that Junkrat players are mainly using it for which is both a high burst of damage still with CC.

There is literally no downsides for minespam and nade spam.

Three Junkrat needs a weakness and has to be kore engaging as a hero overall. It should never have to be “engage Junkrat up close, but get a mine to the face” moment everytime when facing a Junkrat.

For an inventor Hero the players piloting Junkrat really don’t strategize or have much focus on teamwork, strategy, nor how to best optimize their kit besides spam.

No more one shots or two taps.

No more. Create an interaction of a firefight not this cheese type of gameplay that ruins it for others.

Notice how no one is even stating junkrat is weak now?

Because he’s not. And its alright if he gets to Sym levels. About time too.

i dont find hitscan heros fun because i dont like point and shoot.

look its really not my fault if the amount of times my hero is mentioned in patch notes is countable by finger , this is what blizzard gave our hero and we play junkrat like that for fun

we want some changes to junkrat , and all of us junkrat colony members would beg for a rework so we dont have to resort for two taps or one shot but i dont think blizzard cares about him

I can respect the fact that you refuse to play hitscan so you have my respect. You lost it asking for a two tap AOE cheese. That CCs and still acts as a disengage.

i litterly only spam when i cant go skyrat or 3-tap someone ( 2 nades and one mine ) and most of the time the enemy is wido / soldier / kiri / bap like spamming here wont work wtf am i supposed to do ?

Hide behind cover and spam.

What else ya gonna do? Passively sit in a corner and wait? I mean you can.

But you’re better off spamming. Which you will and do so in that moment because Junkrat has no self damage. You lose nothing.

this is a solution but my pride as a junkrat player prevents me from doing that

id go on long flanks in my case , only spam where there is no other thing to do

So the two tap strat…yeah lost me there…you can and shouldn’t get that much value just because you can two tap most heros.

Junkrat being a non dive hero and more of an area denial/control dps, which there is not many of them, shouldn’t be such an effective assassin comparable to actual flank dps. Your mobility is limited and you’re still squishy.

But because you can you just do and spam handles the rest without much control on Junkrat’s kit.

At peast Mccrees have to aim dude. Not that you don’t but Junkrats gun has a raomized nature to it. We can claim we hit those shots, but most of it is just randomly flung about.

If anything the buff Junkrat can have to ensure more kills is his steel trap. Nothing else to his explosives.

I suggest a hack like skillshot where the trap is propelled forward and snares a tatget. That way they still get to fight back and remain stationary long enough to kill.

This also gives more skill expression and control to the Junkrat player so that less of their kit is randomized damage.

like i mentioned above its either spam or 2-tap ( currently 3-tap with mele or a 2 shots )
and we chose the latter , also we always find another way to have fun on junkrat and wreak havoc in lobbies
