Seems fine to me. They remind me of night elves. They have yellow eyes green hair and purple skin. The night elves are also being featured in the tides of vengeance patch in WoW which will be released the same day as winter wonderland.
I was referring to anyone who would call themselves mad or angry about it.
In otherwords, if it donât apply let it fly.
They will change it up, I guarantee it !
I personally really donât like the yellow wings, doesnât mean it wont buy the skin if I dont get it in a lootboxes because the rest of the skin makes up for nearly anything that could have been wrong with it.
What really makes me want Blizzard to change the wing color is that they have changed it in the past and even for an epic skin (the lunar new year epic, with awesome, two toned wings that made a mostly more boring skin amazing). It would be different if Blizzard had never changed it in the past because now that means people canât argue that yellow is overwatchs healing color because mercy has blue and green wings in some skins.
And you also canât really argue that it fits to well with the skin either. Iâve been seeing the main argument against any color change being âyellow is complementary to purpleâ which is true but people need to realize the skin is not purple .
This skin has a range of colors with the main color being a more red violet. Now the reason I point this out is because while it is a small difference in the color it is all the more important to explain with the OG yellow doesnât work.
Purple and yellow look very good together and yellow can look good with green and blue, as well as the other hot colors. So if the color scheme of the skin has or combines these colors that work well with yellow than yellow should look very good.
Not so much.
The problem arises when the purple that the specific color of yellow the wings complements is slightly changed to the more red side. This wouldnât be as big of a problem if yellow was more integrated with the design but it isnât. This leaves us with a color scheme that could be saying as entering a complementary uncanny valley. Where we know that the yellow is off even if it is suppose to match.

Please change it, tell me their art team can do something accurately since all the other skins are so tacky

The latest skin, Gift Wrap Bastion, has so much detail he has snow on his treads in tank form. So they weâre able to do thatâŚbut not change the wingsâŚon a legendary skinâŚ
If weâre drawing comparisons to WoW, the skin reminds me a lot more of faerie dragons (which have a heavy presence in NE culture). So if they were trying to nod to that, the yellow would still be a touch out of place.
