Sudden overlay of FPS/[tpel] info in-game?

i was practicing mercy’s super jump on practice mode when all of a sudden this screen overlay popped-up? it only appears during gameplay (QP, practice, etc) and doesnt appear on the main menu, i have tried re-installing, restarting client, and restarting my pc, but it seems to be a permanent thing? how do i hide/disable it?
i can’t even show it here because the forum wont allow me to post links/images.

I presume you’re talking about the Network Graph?

While in game, press and hold these keys (CTRL + Shift), and then press the N key, to disable it.

I’m sorry this happened to you, and glad I could help!

Mercy’s Guardian Angel jump is really fun to do, and once you get it down consistently (I don’t know how you’re doing it, but I always crouch and then Guardian Angel right after, but fast enough for them to be in the same animation frame), you can just hover around and heal everyone!

Best of luck on your matches! <3

It’s hard at first, but you’ll easily get it down to where you can do it consistently, and then to where you do it without even thinking!

If your FPS is capped, try uncapping it in the settings, as a higher-framerate may allow you to get it down to where you can practice it more (if your monitor is above 60Hz, that is!)

If your monitor is a 120 / 144 / 240 / 360Hz monitor and you have it set already in Windows to default to using the highest refresh rate, make sure that it’s also selected in OW under your resolution!

How can you tell? It’ll look like this in Overwatch when you select resolution, with the number proceeding after the resolution being your Refresh Rate: 1920x1080 (60) or the (60) may be a (75), (110), (120), (144), (240), (360)

wow thank you so much! i’ll definitely be trying those out!

Even if your monitor only supports 60Hz, a higher framerate may feel smoother to you, as it’ll lower the Frame Timing, allowing your inputs to be read much quicker!
