- FTC/Sony worry Microsoft will make Call of Duty be exclusive to Xbox
- Microsoft proceeds to offer every competitor a legally binding 10 year contract that they won’t do that.
That should be the end of that.

Kind wish Sony would just give up and just merge with Xbox and Nintendo. (plus maybe Steam)
And just work on making one console for the century.

Please let us earn battlepass experience through this pve so I’ll never have to suffer pvp ever again. I’d gladly pay for that to happen.

So… let’s see what the state of Overwatch 2 looks like from launch to now… A TON of bugs, overpriced, no brain balance, blizzard still hates support, mm is still crap and much more…
Give me ONE reason to believe that PvE will be good…
For three months, Overwatch 2 has deprived me of any hope for PvE. I’m not going to be disappointed so I prefer to assume that blizzard will fail as always. As always, there will be only hype announcements, and in the end it will turn out that what they were talking about was, as always, a simple lie. I have no reason to believe Blizzard.

I just wonder how they’re going to balance heroes…
obviously people will want to play their favourites, and restricting people to a handful like in the halloween events would make it significantly less replayable. but some heroes are just vastly better than others in pve.
I’m not convinced that we “know” anything at all. They haven’t don’t any real reveals for years. Something about it must have changed by now.

Yup, and they launched God of War Ragnarok right around the time they started complaining about exclusives.
I was looking forward to the pve for a long time because it is the purest way to express each heroes power fantasy without worrying how it feels to play against. Much more room for creativity. But with how half baked and outright broken they were willing to launch pvp (replacing the functional product in the process) it is less exciting to look forward to. Also concerned it’s going to be aggressively monetized and sliced into paywalls too.

I think the whole silence about PvE is because they measuring if its worth it to keep developing it. They might just leave Ow as a full pvp game as it has always been and allocate those devs into another project like that survival game they are doing.
They scrapped bigger projects like titan and starcraft ghost, i don’t see why they wouldnt scrap a small PvE campaign on a PvP game.
