Oh sweet summer child, if you think that Microsoft will fix OW’s progression and monotization, don’t look at Halo.

I think it will minimize, if Bobby and Activision doesn’t drain everything out by then.
Microsoft is mostly interested in COD.
Overwatch will most likely be treated like Halo.

Well, at least the battlepass in Sea of Thieves a ton better - even without paying I can earn a lot of good stuff, including premium currency to buy special skins/pets/whatever in the store. Also, nothing in the store affects gameplay (unlike hero locks in a hero shooter). It’s by far more forgiving and rewarding.

Sty’s channel has become some Asmongold clickbait b.s. now.
I don’t think you know what clickbait is. The title here is level-headed and accurately portrays what’s discussed in the video. It is not clickbait.

I agree with him the progression and rewards as a player who doesn’t already have all the ow1 content is like non-existent. And as someone who does own that content it’s not really exciting, it’s more of a “oh, cool” every now and then.
It seems like an easy fix to me. I’ve seen tons of good suggestions that don’t obliterate profit margins. Wonder if they’ll take any of them

Maybe if they said Sony was taking them over I’d feel a little better. But not Microsoft.

Stylosa has generally been quite on point with his takes for the past year or two, unfortunately, also doesn’t seem like he’s a creator whose opinion Blizzard values much for whatever reason. Probably because he hasn’t been signing his soul away to them.

To be fair he seems to just go to the forums to figure out his next video.
Something I dread is the prospect that they might come in, go “Yeah Bobby’s doing a fine job” and keep him on. I don’t know if anyone involved actually wants that, particularly in lieu of his scandals but I still dread somewhere that it might happen.
Hold Blizzard accountable. I know people want to give up because they feel like there is nothing to fight against, but if we all become passive then they will never fix these issues.
Shills can be ignored and blocked. Just fight the good fight.
