Stuck on “loading preferences” screen upon booting up

PS5 issue:
Upon booting up it’s been stuck on “loading preferences” after clicking x to start game.

After it’s timed out (10+mins) I get “something went wrong” with the code up to corner “NP-104602-3”

Troubleshooting I’ve done:
Reset router/modem
Restarted ps5
Closed game entirely (instead of rest mode)

Not inclined to reinstall game as it takes hours and I’ve done it multiple times for OW2. Sick of wasting my time.

This happens to me too, on Xbox one and ps4. It started mid summer. It is not internet related. I am commenting in the hopes of getting more visibility on the issue. No one replied to my post, and customer service keeps telling me they have no record of other people with the problem.
