Ping spikes to 260 and when in game it drops to 60
I have no idea why this bug returns and what causes it.

Did the drops happen during the test? Because all it shows is an average ping of 42ms and no packet loss.
The drops only happen in the loading screen, right before you get into the match. I am stuck there, nothing happens, but I can still give endorsements
If I am lucky I can join the game a bit late, if I am unlucky the inactivity warning appears in the loading screen, telling me I get kicked
If am really lucky it just goes through without any hitches, problem popped 1 or 2 days ago.

How old or full is your drive? It sounds like a local processing issue, not a connection one.
It’s an SSD Samsung 860 EVO, 4 years-5 years old and smart doesn’t show any errors
The SSD is also my main game drive. The only hiccups I have is in Overwatch in the loading screen and that’s just from time to time
EDIT: And today there are no hiccups at all
