I cannot access the shop or buy any skins due to my account being stuck in merge. It’s been stuck in merge for months and I don’t even want it to merge since I had nothing on my old account anyway. Please help!!
I’ve done some research and seen that some people have had this problem in the past. I got a couple things. Could either try:
- Login to Battle.net and go to “Connections”
- Disconnect any accounts you have, that you do not need to use/merge
- Relogin to the Battle.net client, launch OW2 and you should now see the shop!

I found this posted by a technical support agent about a year and a half ago so hopefully this helps (for future these kind of posts about your account should go to technical support by the way, not bug support ahahaha):
The most common cause for not being able to complete an account merge or being stuck in queue is that the console account you are trying to merge was previously merged to another [Overwatch 2 ] account.
Once a console account has been merged that progress is tied to the battle.net account it was linked and merged with. Trying to use the console account on a different battle.net account can then cause issues with the merge process.
