Any tips? I can hook him as roadhog but if they have ana im dead. Im struggling against dps in general especially if they have the right anti tank support on their team.
Your main course of action, per usual is to ask for nerfs here.

I’ve found Orisa and Dva to be pretty good against him.
Orisa can fortify, spin & javelin during his assault mode
Dva can defense matrix his assault mode and does pretty considerable damage in close range

I just don’t engage him while he’s sitting. I stay close to a corner, and take cover when he sits down. But I also play Orisa against him, so I either use fortify or the javelin.
I can only provide advice using Orisa. I find that Bastion will try to roll out from a blind corner (usually) in assault config and burn you down from midrange. The javelin twirl lets you wipe out most of his projectile spam, and if you do it right, you slam him against a wall at the same time. Then immediately throw your javelin after the twirl is over, stunning him momentarily and doing more damage. Finish him off with your primary (pop your shift if you have to, but it shouldn’t be necessary). Before too long you get a dead Bastion.
Biggest tip I can give is try to avoid engaging while Bastion is in turret mode. He will kill you if you just throw yourself at him while his minigun is out.
I’d also recommend to play characters who do better against spam. As mentioned above, Dva and Orisa are good picks. I prefer Dva, since you can dive Bastion as soon as he enters recon.
Just wait till his gatling gun mode goes on cooldown, than rush him down. He has a massive hitbox and no way to defend himself nor mobility in the slightest to escape.
I like sigma against him. Grasp & shield against him. With some decent burst on rock + primary fire. If is far away to not hit he cant rotate a corner. If close enough to hit he is big enough to double burst fire short.

I’m not a tank master, but he are my 2 cents:
- Wait for Bastion to have his abilities on cool down before engaging.
- Be mindful of your positioning so you can duck back into cover if necessary. If Bastion catches you out in the open with his abilities you’ll get burned down quick, cover is your best friend in OW2.
- If they have an Ana complementing the Bastion, ideally have DPS flankers keep her preoccupied (like Genji, who also doubles as a counter to Bastion).
Sigma: Grasp and rock
D.Va: Matrix and booster
Ramattra: Shield, block, and ult
Orisa: Javelin, fortify, and spin
These 4 works good against bastion.
Dunno if it’s different in OW2 (haven’t gone against many Bastions) but I used to have a good time as Sigma. They really liked to feed my Kinetic Grasp and I could chuck a rock to force them out of turret form. Does the rock still do that or does it just stun? Though I guess in OW2 it’s better to just let the turret form run out but Sig still has nice tools against it.
Use your cover. Bastion is useless if he can’t shoot you. Focus on hugging walls and choke points and you render him completely useless. His assault mode is the problem, and it only lasts 6 seconds and takes 12 seconds of cooldown.

sounds like a positioning issue. say do you find yourself dying in the middle of open ground? try hugging the walls. walls are a great source of protection as they have infinite health. try them today for only 19.99$

Pretend his turret mode is an ultimate. You ain’t winning without one yourself, so wait it out.
