Blasphemy! Heavy is stupid and can easily be dealt with from range. Assassin is very sensitive, so a slap will hurt her feelings. But if you fail to slap on time… bwahaha

Didn’t Mercy technically bring Genji back from the dead? Or at the very least, close enough that it certainly could be considered as such? I’m a bit iffy on that, but if it’s true, the ability to bring someone back from the dead (not rez, but science wise as she did Genji) is quite, quite powerful.

Even if the ‘strongest’ hero falls in lore, she could–theoretically–bring them back, yes?

Winston, he was able to overpower Doomfist in hand to hand combat. Really wish we saw the rest of that fight though (._.)

Now i need to ask a question to clarify before i answer.

Do you mean “If we put them all into a battle to the death against each other based on lore who would win?” or do you mean “Who has the most lore surrounding them specifically as a character?”

If by strongest hero means the most muscular persons, the supports wouldnt be that high up on the list, But if you think about theyre powers supports are some of the scariest, bringing ppl back from the dead, changing dna, shooting sound, literally building with light.

If you just base it on that, he technically fought off /several/ overwatch members before Winston /finally/ dealt with him.

If it had just been Doomfist v Winston it seems more likely Doomfist wins.
Though, it also seems like if anyone is going to win a fight against Doomfist it’s easily Widowmaker who’ll just pick him off when the timing’s right… but then you have Sombra who will know her plans and be behind her to kill her right after she’s killed Doomfist, then you have Reaper who’s not daft and may kill Sombra for the trouble … who loses to 47 because Talon is in disarray… who loses to …

Yeah this goes on and on and on >.>

Winston has yet to lose a fight.
Reaper should for all intents and purposes be the strongest though.

After that it’s probably Doomfist or Reinhardt.

If it was going by raw physical strength…wouldn’t that be Doomfist? Heard he could level buildings with a single punch. That’s a level of ‘freedom’ even America would love. :laughing:

If they meant ability wise, I would have to think the ability to use medical science to bring back someone from injuries that many would consider fatal in several ways…is amazing. It means that death needn’t really be feared, so long as Mercy has that technology.

I don’t know about the ‘Reaper is Immortal’ argument. When Winston incinerated him and he turned into a black cloud, if he could just do that over and over again, then why didn’t he continue trying to kill Winston? I think Reaper might eventually get tired, or his cells just take too much of a beating and die, like it just makes no sense why he would retreat instead of continue fighting the monkey if he was truly immortal.

Winston or doomfist is defenitively at firat place, gorillas are much stronger than humans, and who knows what prumal rage does… at second place it might be zarya or reinhardt i think.
But bringing ppl back from the dead is much more mightier

Torbjorn. By far.

Two comics, lasting relationships with most of the cast, a daughter who only strengthens those bonds, we have comms between him and his wife that shows another side of his personality, he has interactions with all kinds of heroes from several different backgrounds.

Torbjorn Lindholm is by far the strongest lore-based character in the Overwatch Universe.

True, but Genji and Tracer hardly did anything to him, they were just nuisances to him .

Widow would have an advantage as long as Akande doesn’t find a way to close the distance between them( using a small car as a shield then throwing it at her).
