How to get your account hard stuck?
Play well with very good stats but fail to win the game. Once you do it 5-10 times, due to your mmr and sr gap you will be paired with potatoes on your team making it nearly impossible to win games unless you can hard carry 2-3 players vs5.

I find it funny that simply jumping off the map for one game, gives you better teammates in the next game.

So the strategy Iāve bewn using is to win but do worse than everyone and that seems to work. This is exactly the same. Itās crazy

What I said, is what you do when the game flags you as the ācarryā and keeps shoving that one potato on your team, game after game.
It resets the carry rating. But you also lost.
The best way to climb is to be mediocre and donāt stick out, but still win more than losing. That provides you with the least toxic gaming experience, as you get far far less potatos that ājust need 1 win, pls god, just one win!!!..ā on YOUR team.
Itās basically you trying to game the āplayer engagement algorithmā. You get better games, you wonāt really climb more. But the games are less awful.

Sad but true, after a few wins in a row I always go hammer only torb for fun. Then get back to normal matches.

you donāt have to, the matchmaker decides when it wants you to not rank up and be hard-stuck

Not true. You confused what they said.
There are no more performance based SR adjustments anymore.
Your performance does impact your mmr and then match making after that.

No, it isnāt real and the earth is spherical, itās just people playing the game too much and angry posting on the internet, the key to climbing is winning and performing well, itās pretty straight forwardā¦
Unless of course the 1000ās of videos of people doing unranked to GM are all faked

On a brand new account you can climb high. Ive done it. But this is obviously talking about for those who are not creating new accounts for viewers. The system was not designed to have us keep creating a bunch of new accounts and as is evident the players who have the unranked to gm videos will show as well, theyre stomping potatoes and suddenly their in gm. You dont have to slog through hard stuff in unranked to gm.
You also dont have to convince the algorithm it isnt right because thereās no previous data

Another thing that is really important is donāt lose any games where the matchmaker gives you a freebee. This usually happens when you have the obviously more talented team, but somehow you all manage to play your worst and throw the game and still BARELY lose in overtime. If that ever happens, quit for the season. The matchmaker will never forgive you for it. Ever.

If you are good enough to dominate players of āyourā rank, but bad enough to continually loseā¦ Yes. I can confirm what he is saying. It is absolutely true. That being said, if you were genuinely good enough to win, you would obviously climb. So you need to be a special sort of trash.
