This same type of thread takes caused the dps/support hate threads during OW1.

I dont even play this game anymore, but i see the same trend.
Oh well, enjoy your 15 min que times again i guess, then you really wont get healed cause youll be at que screen.

I agree that a lot of toxic folks love making support the scapegoat for their loss, but let’s not go at each other’s throats for what is at its core a game design issue.
Support does not feel very fun nor does it feel very rewarding to play at the moment. Or at least does not feel as fun or rewarding as the other roles. All it takes is one flanker that knows what they’re doing, farming you for ult charge while your team ignores you, to make the game feel miserable to play. Then to top it off, you spent the whole game playing a walking simulator, meanwhile your team is flaming you for not healing. You’re trying, but you can’t 1v1 a competent Genji as a support so you are just an easy kill.

And blame the rewards for playing flex (no1 cares about battle pass xp lol).

hopefully if queue’s keep going the way they do they put more focus on putting out supp heroes instead of tank and dps heroes. kiriko was really fun, if they keep adding supports like that a lot more might play it.

Yeah but season 2 will have a tank hero.
Season 3 wont have new heroes.
Season 4 will start around April, 2023.
We just have to wait like 6 months with these queues

TBH, in OW1 as a main tank I hated supports because way too many of them were frustrated Widow mains playing budget sniper as Ana or they were so focused on pocketing their duo/group that I’d be left cold. I only switched to Hammond to give myself more options for sustainability and ended up with over twice as many hours on him than any other tank.
Is it the same? Haven’t played OW2, but if it is, ain’t no wonder.
