These posts are utterly pointless. They literally cannot “fix” DPS que times. Welcome to online role-based games. You understand that the que times are organic right? That they are a direct relation to DPS being the most popular role choice? MMOs have been struggling with this for over a decade. If you’re waiting for DPS que times to be “solved” in OW, I got some bad news for you. It won’t. So might as well just accept that now or go spend your time on another game.

I mean, whatever good came from role queue, it seems to have broken a lot. We might have to roll back parts of it or choose something else.
I basically can’t get good games in QP anymore. Even though I like role queue in theory I basically live in QPC now.
Actually they can fix it & they’re starting it with the while you wait system which comes out next patch just sayin’.
Plus adding more tanks/supports are one of the other fix for q times & such.

Neither of those will fix the actual time it takes for a match to pop for DPS. One is a distraction while waiting and the other is just more Hero options for Support/Tank mains. The issue with DPS que times remaining higher than Tank/Support will always exist.

As a Support main who’s been playing online role-based games for a long time, I assure you it’s not
Given the utter cesspool that Ranked was prior to Role Que, no thank you. For myself, 2-2-2 is the only reason I’m even still playing this game.

How about no? How about the dev’s undo role queue? The broken system that has caused more problems that it has solved.
The system that entirely divided the community. The system that is basically the dev’s saying, “We can’t balance things properly, so we’ll change the game in a major way”

I mean, 5 dps comps weren’t as frequent as the forum states. (It was nowhere near every single math nor every other match) and as a comp player, 5dps comps never bothered me as i barely saw 'em. wouldn’t mind a revert.

They could fix the queue times, though. The easiest way would be to revert. However, there are other ways they could mitigate it.
Do not worry though, most people who care are quitting. Eventually their voices will be silenced completely.

So is everyone else. That’s why we want things fixed.
“Everyone else” assumes actually everyone else. And there is a large portion of the playerbase (like myself) who are ecstatic that Role Que was finally implemented (it should’ve been in the game from the get go).
They did not put all of the time and effort required to rework the background algos and develop the system to support for it to be reverted. Sorry but it’s not going anywhere. (And neither are DPS que times).

Opposite experience here, been having a much better experience in roleque. Hell even my sister who I play with wasn’t a fan of the idea of roleque at the time (basically a otp between pharah and moria) and she doesn’t like the idea of selecting a role before seeing that map she plays because she likes playing pharah on some maps while being moira on others (legitimate complaint) but we went to qpc twice she never wants to go there again but hey that’s why we have options.

More like reasonable people. Even diehard supporters are seeing the blatant negative consequences and it realistically only gets worse. So… They might actually revert tho.
It seems likely that playing different roles/MMR levels would affect that. Maybe you really aren’t affected.
All I know is, I have a huge disadvantage in QP role queue that immediately vanishes the second I go to QPC.
The games also feel radically different. Regular QP queue feels extremely difficult. I think those are the most serious, difficult games I’ve played anywhere, including in comp.

Do people just forget there is still classic QP? Just because it’s moved it hasn’t disappeared. If you want to get quick que times as DPS you can go play with your other “I only want to DPS” buddies.
