Stop with the "DVa needs nerfs" Threads and the "DVa needs no skill" comments. Its beyond a joke

I am a DVa main at 147hrs and really, that might not surprise all of you but im gonna stick with it to 250 or even 500 hrs.

I am seeing more and more, these pathetic, threads where people are complaining about how DVa is too OP and has a high pick rate

Yes She has a high pick rate because of high viability in every single team comp. She has a lot of mobility for a tank. She can combo ultimates with other tanks. She is a counter to Pharmercy and bastion pirate ship.
Does this mean she is op
No it doesn’t. Her DM is really easy to counter. Hack, beam, CC and just general learning of timing is one way to get around it.
Shes too dive
Yes, she is dive tank, but if you learn to not group up and protect healers, its fine
She has no counters
-_-, every hero has counters. Do you want me to list every counter

Moira
Zarya
Reaper
Bastion [to an extent]
Junkrat
All other Beams
Roadhog
Sombra
So quit you yabbering and learn one of these heroes to counter her
Her ultimate is too easy to get kills with.
Not really, yes its true that her bombs have high impact if done correctly, but you can block all of that with shields or just environmental stuff
Get rid of her micro missiles
The reason for micro missiles is because of the fact she was too defensy and needed some viability on attack
One tricking DVa players have no skill
Actually any hero requires skill. Even dva, you need to learn when to engage or disengage. learn who to dive, where to put dva bombs. communicate clearly. We do a lot
Off tanks are not great
Yeah, no, they are, normal comps include one shield and one off tank.
Goats is so hard to deal with
Run a pharah. Use your noggin, pharah is strong now, and when there is no counter to you, except for DVA, then its fine
DVas should dive widow and backline
Only if their backline is weak and unprotected

No, she is not broken, I listed things that can counteract everything she has, also. don’t take OWWC as gospel because I doubt you or I can play to that level. These are top tier players who know what to do. and the way she is kept up is healers

How is she broken? And no, “high pick-rate” isn’t a mechanic. I would like to know what, in her kit, you consider broken.

The dva nerf threads are popping up a lot lately, but it isn’t until the “stop the nerf threads” pop up that a hero actually gets nerfed. So RIP dva, you were fun while you lasted

The “no skill” has always been used as the go-to excuse to get a hero changed. The elitist have been using it and now that it’s worked for a few heroes others are jumping on board and using it in the hopes to get heroes they hate changed.

News flash, every hero takes skill. Each takes different types of skills.

My issue isn’t nerfing her, it’s that she’s an above average hero in many areas. She’s too flexible, and usually that flexibility comes at a cost: they are not the top power in a certain area. But diving, D’va is pretty much what helps enable it. That’s my problem with her. She’s too flexible.

Enough of her kit is broken to make her a preferred tank pick 95% of the time in the pro-scene.

Like it or not, her pro rep is a statistic with weight behind it. They pick her for a variety of reasons, and do so over every. single. other. tank. in the game to the tune of “D.Va is on both teams in every game”.

Why is she broken? I don’t know.

Is she broken? Yes. You don’t get picked that much without a good reason.

The last Hero the Dev team needs to focus on is D.Va . She has her spot and is popular because she’s a jack of all trades and has synergy with almost every comp/map. Her gameplay is perfect where it is.

#leave D.Va alone.

You just said that you don’t know why shes broken but insist she is.
AND STOP WITH THE 95%. That’s only because she is the better of the 3 off tanks. I try looking what SR you are but you are too chicken to show it. Maybe you are silver, or maybe higher.
Shes on both sides, because, maybe, just maybe, she is required in that comp.
Can you tell me what aspects of her kit and I will tell you how to counter. thanks
