Yeah, I’m feeling great about the mod decisions at the moment. I merely said something some people obviously didn’t agree with and got sent to the naughty corner for 24 hours because whatever I said was “inappropriate”. Meanwhile these bait threads are thriving and the only way they disappear is naturally when they eventually fade into obscurity.
Not to mention the post I saw of someone literally encouraging suicide. You bet that post stayed up despite me flagging it

It’s not like people are going around as Moria and say “lol I killed people with the Corona virus”. Meanwhile what we do have is people picking police skins in the game and targeting black characters. I know it may be hard to see the link because it doesn’t affect you, but one is an issue that comes right from the games content and another is a general issue that could be talked about anyway. IE, not related to OW.

Well this is different!
Don’t you think it’s a bit hypocritical to blast the MVP for correctly stating that Corona virus threads are off-topic and then turn around and do the same thing to people posting about Black Lives Matter?
Police Brutality has also claimed lives. It’s also made people afraid. Both topics aren’t about Overwatch but were big enough that they let it slide. I don’t see what makes you see one as appropriate to behave this way about while simultaneously calling out someone else for doing the same thing as you are doing now…
Both have been allowed because of how huge they are. In a bit, they will probably change that and we’ll go back to only discussing Overwatch. In the meantime, just skip the threads you don’t like and don’t make threads calling out individual players.

I used to care a lot about overwatch and these forums.
I used to laugh at all the nerf widow / moira / brig threads because I could picture the OP getting their backside handed to them by said hero
I used to post a lot about how I was excited / let down by a change to the game or whatever.
But the more I use these forums, the more I’m starting to question why I bother.
Blizzard nor anyone else give a [REDACTED] about me, my opinion or anything.
They listen to the top billionth of a percent of players and ignore the rest of us.
Even consoles players are the target of ridicule with almost zero specific balance changes to xbox and ps4.
I almost feel like being the next person to make an “I’m quitting” thread…

The mods were absent for the last two weeks pretty much, now they’re back and being as useless as ever.
Right, what was the point of this thread? To give information that everyone already knew? Not helpful dood, you only want likes yourself eh?
Also CS is split between all the forums, meaning they’re not always active on the OW forums.
OP has a point… if a Covid thread was informed to use a Reddit Instead of the OW forum… same could be said of BLM related threads. 
And considering how Covid has impacted the OWL scene, BlizzCon, etc… I would assume that those threads are more relevant to the OW Forums than most BLM threads.
So if the OP of a Covid thread gets told to post elsewhere because the OW Forums aren’t the place for Covid topics… how much less is this the place for BLM threads?

That’s now answering the question. I don’t care whose decision it is. What I care about is is there a way for me to effect the decision of unflagging the post in a positive way retroactively?
