Seriously, yall are trying to blame the hitbox increase for all of your deaths when in reality its likely resulted in less then 2% of your deaths because thats about all anyones accuracy has gone up since the changes.
No your not dying because your being “shot with logs” your dying because you made a bad play and got punished for it.
The hitbox change made the hitbox about an inch outside of the heroes frame which is exactly how every other FPS is.
Stop trying to pin the blame when YOUR the one to blame
I guarantee thats not true. Not only that but 8% is just 1 shot in a mag. That is by zero means game breaking and can not be the reason why your dying. People are dying more because its easier to punish people who make bad plays due to effectiveness of heals being reduced
Given that I popped back into the game for one night and had mostly games of 60% accuracy on an off day, where as prior it was like 40%. I think the hitboxes helped my shots considerably. It’s almost as if it removed a fair amount of the skill requirement.
No it’s closer to 2.5x a head. You can shoot people above their healthbar and score a crit.
Your point? You’d be surprised at how little that matters when no one is missing shots anymore. Even I can play basic hitscans now when previously I could only play Tracer, Sombra, Echo, and Sojourn.
That doesn’t matter. The point is that the hitboxes are massive enough to hit when the crosshair is that far off. Whether they’re moving or not doesn’t change the fact that you hit headshots when your crosshair is objectively not on the head.
…The hitbox is so much larger, it is far easier to shoot them. My accuracy went from 40% average to 60% despite 2 months of not playing the game and barely playing any fps titles. My accuracy should have gone down. Especially, because I was pretty tired when playing.
I am masters. It’s not as if people were standing still for me to shoot them. It was just absurdly easy.
I love it because there is so much more to Overwatch than mechanical skill. The whiners are the people who were only good because they can click 4heads better than others.
Now they have to learn how to actually play and use the environment to their advantage.
The funnies thing is that it only benefits those who can’t aim (aka the ones who are complaining about it so they are basically being hypocrites) and doesn’t change the game for those who can already aim (i. e. high elos)
