Implying Ana hasn’t been nerfed at all in 2 years. Never mind the fact she can’t capitalize on sleep herself anymore. Never mind the fact her healing got nerfed and she was already healing the least out of every main healer.

No…? He’s good because he no longer relies on his ult to be useful. His kit is fine, nerf his damn ult they buffed his entire kit and left his ult alone including his ult charge.

As well, bap is literally only used for his immortality field in high level. That’s it. Ana is used for her whole kit.
Her nerfs were incredibly minor in comparison to that of Bap.

Ana nerfs are pathetically small in comparison! I am not surprised they had zero effect as it looks like they were designed to have zero effect.

Yep. The fact that Ana can just shut down every other supports defensive ult (mainly nano-blade) or sleep an ulting lucio (If you’re lucky), anti-nade a trance or just nano someone… There’s too many good skills compiled into 1 healer.
Ana/Genji need a nerf. Or buff other healers that need it.
There is no viable defensive ult for nano-blade
Her grenades is something that needs to be nerfed long ago but whenever Blizzard nerf her they nerf the wrong thing about her (Like her damage at one point like wtf??)

Being able to survive as Ana is another skill. I never expect to get any peeling being in plat, so learning to survive on your own is an unnoticed skill

If skill=reward then Reignhardt and current Genji don’t deserve their spots.
I think she needs her kit rebalanced a bit so the anti-nade isn’t like a mini-ult in terms of strength. She also needs to be a more reliable healer overall. It’s a problem when a single ability is so incredibly strong it’s the practically the entire reason to bring the hero along. (see also: Defense Matrix)
She’s the #1 most popular hero according to Overbuff data (~12% pick rate in QP and Comp)
But to me, Ana is frustrating to play with, as, and against. Imagine if Mercy had a pick rate that high, there’d be clarion calls from the community for her to get nerfed. But there’s also a grudging respect since Ana’s a high skill ceiling hero, so her situation is tolerated.
MOST Ana players, I find, I cannot rely on to heal me in a chaotic fight. They miss shots, they try to DPS when their allies are critical, they can’t get line of sight due to her limited mobility, they get dove on and have to stop healing and defend themselves (whereas Mercy, Zen, Moira, Lucio, even Bap to some degree - can continue healing even while under attack). Good Ana players are amazing and I’d gladly take one on my team, but most aren’t and it’s frustrating.
But then when you play against her and get slept or anti-naded, those abilities can singlehandedly stop a push if used properly. Usually that level of stopping power is reserved for ultimates.
I’d like to see a rebalance of her kit like:
- Make anti-nade reduce healing by 50% instead of 100%
- Cut 2 seconds off bio-nade’s cooldown
- Expand the targeting hitbox for healing allies by 10%
- Increase projectile speed of non-scope shot by 25%
- Reduce her damage capability slightly
- Reduce sleep dart’s duration by 1 second but also give it 1 second of ignoring damage immediately after a target initially gets hit
You mean, the massive projectiles or long-range hitscan, the aoe ability that you can throw into the enemy to win the fight, the ability that is easiest to hit on tanks and worst for a tank to get hit by than the other roles, and the ultimate where you literally aim near a teammate, press q, and forget about it?

If that were simply the case Ana would be without question the best character in the game. A must-pick. Top of the ladder would be Ana, pro play pick and so on.
Just please stop generalising. There are ample shields & abilities that completely stop it, then it’s on CD again. Random splash on the enemy team aint winning fights. Where’s the follow-up? What if you miss? You now don’t have it defensively for your team or for yourself. The enemy can see that and capitalise.

Honestly, after playing other FPS that do require more aim and mechanical skill as you said it, I do not think Ana is that hard to master.
Regardless of our own opinions, though, her anti-nade is too powerful. And it is available every 6 secs (if you landed it) and can even mess with ults such as Zen’s.
For me, they need to decrease the 100% heal canceling OR increase its cooldown. I don’t think this would be a nerf but actually a much neccesary adjustment, specially when you consider that 'nade literally requires alsmot no mechanical skill whatsoever and its benefits can easily change a fight as if it was an ult.

That’s it? That’s nerfing the onlt two parts of her kit that haven’t been nerfed yet that’s a big ask and thats make her F tier taking away the parts of her kit that shine so no she doesn’t need any more nerfs at least not without a compensation buff that is of equal value
the problem with Ana is ontop of her really strong burst healing she has too much utility in her abilities
Anti heal is very strong utility and sleep dart has a huge hitbox and can shut down so many ultimates
she’s essentially a really really really strong mean healer with some really powerful utility alongside that
And when you compare her amazing BURST HEALING and amazing UTILITY to the other main healers like bap (only has lamp) and mercy (who only has rez) and moira who has absolutely no utility, you can clearly see why a lot of people complain about Ana
