There’s a lot of talk on the forums about how Blizzard likes to match new players with veteran players in an effort to get the new players to buy skins.
Well Blizzard, homie don’t play that game no more.
If you want to continue rigging my games for a “50% chance to win” by throwing new players on my team that’s one thing, but I’m not going to reinforce that crap by using my library of OW1 skins for new players to drool over to help pad your profit margin.
Everyone of my characters is now using default skins until this 50% chance to win madness ends. Anyone who is tired of this matchmaker should do the same.

I think not playing would be a stronger protest

Don’t buy skins period.
Buy some cool clothes irl instead.

Not using skins implies not buying them either. Think about it.

My Chained King Hellraiser Reaper skin is too edgy to ignore. If the new players get turned on by it, there is not much I can do about that. It offers me a competitive advantage that I refuse to lose.

Bold of you to assume I wear clothes.

You could if you stopped buying skins.

Does that still have a relatively active community. I’ve been in CS mostly?
My friend… every match is 50% you either win or you lose… only 2 outcomes… so 50% chance of either…
This community misconception born from a failure to see though double-speak
And draws are so rare we dont need to talk about them, and would only be frequent enough to talk about, if matchmaking made super even matches…

They don’t think it be like it is, but it do.
Nah… there using a philosophical logic not a matchmatical one…
Thats how double-speak works… say something to mislead while still being technically right
I’ve already been doing this, since OW2 released. And honestly, the default OW2 skins are still pretty fire.
The new credits system is really appreciated though, allowing new players to still buy the common reskins by just playing.

Are you trying to be ironic here or was that an accident?
Right on. I’ll have to try it some time.

Nah trying to explain the concept of double-speak to you…
Best example… valve said “were working to improve the situation” in regard to tf2s botting problem… community got hyped. Expecting to fix the problem
Update came… only one of like 4 known bot programs was delt with…
Valve did improve the situation… so they diddnt lie…
I think your forgetting blizzard thinks all of us are stupid and tries to mislead us when they deem it necessary
I like to collect skins cause some of them look nice, but for some reason… I like the look of the default skins the most, I really like the new OW2 skins… So I use the default OW2 skin with golden weapons, amusingly enough… In competitive etc, they’re the rarest skin almost… Especially with a golden gun.
